    Actually, I think it fits the total situation perfectly - and (I'm reading in here) expresses what many of us feel about the processes involved at UND starting with the job the "committee" did on the nickname and including Fast Eddy being the only opinion on picking our crappy logo. Many are glad that the media is finally standing up to this crapfest and is taking the evasive "I'm out of town and won't explain, but I am forming a committee) message to task. Nice job, Tom.

    When the team is playing well the crowd noise can be a huge factor - especially on "third down and long". You can be a part of that - and support a coach who bleeds UND Green and is a great guy

    This is Hockey's fault only inside of your head. There is absolutely NO evidence that either the Athletic Department screwed up or that if they did it was because they only like Hockey. Your need to drag down the most successful program on campus is pathetic.

    I can't figure it out - especially after seeing passing going full speed on rushes last year that left me breathless - rarely did I see that kind of passing on the PP - a lot of teeing it up on the outside.

    After the #1s, how do we feel about this class in comparison to other schools in the country. As has been mentioned, BU has 4 first rounders and a 2nd rounder. Are we keeping up with the best? - Not suggesting we aren't, but asking for opinions.

    Isn't it clear that Schafer was paid big bucks to be the ass that settled this issue and doesn't personally give a crap if the logo is good or not. He is the least likely person in the state to take feedback.

    This issue was handled just fine by the Hockey program - no one needed to be called out here including student athletes or coach Berry. I feel the Hockey Program has earned a little respect. Criticizing them because they haven't ratcheted up enough enthusiasm for a logo that is crap is very wrong. They have always played hard and represented our university well.

    Ok - football only might be a reach, but in my opinion calling out individuals on a team that gave their heart and soul to give us an national championship because they aren't as fired up as Bubba about this change or because they expressed an opinion that seems to match almost everyone on this board is sad and counterproductive.

    Geaux Sioux has gone out of his way to trash some from this program on this thread - a side of him I have never seen before.

    Wow, in a day of hyperbole you win the contest for the stupidest post of the day. The hockey team exemplifies leadership from the coaches on down. You "football only" guys are pretty quick to throw our National Champions under the bus for saying what we all know. I can't believe anyone on this board is trashing these guys.

    If we are stuck with this steaming pile, it needs to be "the logo of shame" - where only the under-performing and disappointing programs have to use it (looking at you, Mens BB). Once excellence is achieved, the logo can come off.
