  1. ME TOO! Will probably only be a part 1 though, the Sioux don't come to 'Ucci next year.....although there is 2 games in a weekend.
  2. Wasn't the said expert Bob Norton? He was the same one who said it was UND that got beat by HC in '06. Yeah, I do remember them saying something about UND not coming out of the regional, I thought it was pretty much because of Wisco making it to the Regional and having the home ice advantage. Oh well, that was a heck of a game though to watch, the UND vs. Wisco game. I was waiting for Bucky to come out looking for Finley for revenge.
  3. Wasn't UND the higher seed? Plus I think going into the Frozen Four UND was the heavy favorite, behind Michigan at least. Oh well, whatever makes you feel better.
  4. I call the HC game more embarassing then anything, the RIT loss was almost worse then HC. The thumping the Sioux took against BC in the Frozen Four THIS year, I would define that as humiliating!
  5. Doesn't bother me at all. Just want whats best for the team, obviously. Much like going out of state if necessary for the best recruits, the same goes for coaching, IMHO.
  6. The GOphers lost to Holy Cross......HOGWASH, acccording to Bob Norton in the Regional tourney this year it was North Dakota that lost to Holy Cross in that game. (that guy really needs to go!)
  7. Agreed, that would be a big step down for him it would seem me. Johny Pohl said on KFAN Saturday morning that this is "catastrophic" to the program. Not really sure what is going on, supposedly he was scouting over the weekend so I would think he has something in the works.
  8. We were told it was being tore down in the near future when we were up there for the Gophers vs. Sioux series in January. We were trying to get a tour as well but the lady would not let us walk around. There was even a past Sioux player there when we were who was trying to get pictures of it but she would not let him by either. So I would assume no.
  9. If you do buy it on e-bay take a look at it first, I heard people say they were selling them at the X but the paint was all faded on the pucks. Just something to keep in mind.
  10. WOW, it pains me to say but I have NoDak winning it all. Don't know if I can handle starting to hear 8>5. I would have had the Gophers going farther in the tourney but they just can't score goals right now. Kangas has been a stud so far but in the big dance they need to be able to score some more goals.
  11. I remember seeing those guys all weekend, we were in 116 pretty much directly across from you. Those were about the only bad Sioux fans we saw pretty much the whole weekend. I believe one of those guys was the one that got choked on Friday night for making fun of a "thinning haired" fan.
  12. I did get it from Paul Conway, they make really nice stuff. I am thinking about ordering a few just to hang around my pad. I have seen the NYJ football guy. I MAY wear the helmet to Grand Forks next year, I chicken out each year though because you never know what is going to happen.
  13. INCH has never been the most WCHA friendly it seems like. On a positive note, Sioux fans had to be happy with Goldy taking out Don Adam before the game Saturday night. Old Goldy is good for something every now and then.
  14. I did make it myself, not leather but it is a real one, it was a damaged helmet from our fire department that I received as a rookie present (long story) so decided instead of dumping it I would paint it up for Gopher games. Ordered the shield in the front from where we get ours on the FD and they lost my first one so I ended up getting it for free....so lucked out there too. Usually I don't wear it out too often because people that sit behind me tend to complain because they can't see around it, but the guys that were behind us this year seemed pretty easy going so I brought it out.....never heard any complaints. Gets a bit heavy to wear after a while but thats where pre-game beers come in handy to divert the thoughts of the weight of it. Should have said hi, I'm pretty easy going.....even got to meet Siouxmama this weekend as well.
  15. That would have been me.
  16. Final score from Fogerty Arena, from the "official" scoreboard keeper: POI-10 SiouSports-3
  17. I think most people would take Shep or Anderson over Adam though.
  18. I'm assuming there was some unfinished business from the last series that needed to get hashed out, hopefully it's out of their systems now.
  19. Everyones favorite WCHA ref, Don Adam, is reffing tonights game I guess.
  20. I couldn't agree with you more. I LOVE listening to Wooger because you never know what he's gonna say so he adds some comedy to the broadcast....and good insight as well, but Frank is off his rocker totally I think. Call me nuts, and idiot, skippy.....whatever, but I say bring in Dubay .....could you imagine him and Wooger, it would be a total homer broadcast but it's FSN anyways, thats what they want.
  21. Nice work on that sign, it was very nice. Glad to see it got the ovation it did.
  22. Well you probably also did not watch the "Dukes of Hazzard" and relate it to drivers ed like I did. I made Bo and Luke Duke look like a couple old ladies behind the wheel that night.
  23. The way I was slipping and sliding all over the road on the way home that night I had to sit back a minute and recall if I had any or not.
  24. I believe you are correct, think it was CC vs. Wisco. That was NOT a fun drive that night. Barely made it in time for the start of the game and the drive home took forever. No drinkey-drinkey that night for me.
  25. Was just going to post that. Last I heard it's supposed to be 1-3" of snow. Would not be Final Five weekend without some kind of weather disturbance though.
