Couldn't agree with you more. Our Fire Department secretary is a HUGE Soiux fan, so the week of Soiux vs. Gopher week is nothing but trashtalking by e-mails ALL week.....it's all part of a great rivalry. Of course I saw her in person this morning at a call and she really rubbed it in about the game.

Actually there was an article in the Strib last week where Gretzky said he thought it would be better for Wheeler to come back next year, so I would assume as well that he'll be back. Hopefully he plays the whole season like it's the playoffs because that was about the only time he came alive.

EJ turning pro doesn't really hurt too bad, if Goligoski leaves....that will hurt. EJ was just a big body that took up space, had a hell of a slapshot...if he could hit the net he may have scored more goals.

Yeah, warm Yukon Jack after a gut full of beer is just asking for trouble. And playing a drinking game to the song "Roxanne" was not good as well. I think Siouxnami witnessed the whole thing as well (if I know my SS people). Did not make it to the Sioux vs. Michigan game that night.

My opinion of him has not changed. He just won a big game, he's still the same person. Even though I only saw one instance of him showboating tonight (but I look for it much more closely now too), but it was not too bad. He's getting better.

I'm trying to figure out why Frazee wasn't down for that shot. Instead of just crouching.....thats whats so frustrating. It's tough to go top shelf from that distance!?!?

I'm just getting used to the fact that we're going to have to hear 8>5 in a couple weeks!

I swear I was going to have a heart attack in the OT period. I hate that feeling at the time but at the end you realize thats whats great about being a hockey fan. Even though my squad lost. Good game!

There are no excuses. The GOphers played like they were shot in the OT, ND owned that overtime period. I feel bad for Goli having the bad hand (just because he's one of my fav. players and I think he'll be gone so it's not the way I wanted him to end his career here) but that was not a game breaker by any means. The Sioux outhustled and outworked in the OT, and thats what wins games at that point.
