The key to sweeping the Gofers is winning on Friday. No Sioux team has lost the Friday game and ended up sweeping.

I hate that ESPN has to be the avenue to promote college hockey. They don't give a rats ass about it and really only spend any time on it during the F*cking Beanpot and the Frozen Four. Loved it when the regional Fox stations carried all the NCAA regionals and you actually got people that covered the sport during the season announcing the damn games.

I don't know...they were pretty damn good a couple years ago. How they lost that championship game to the Q is beyond me; that Gofer squad was LOADED. If they are down a little now, great for UND...because it usually doesn't last too long before they are good again.

Just got home from the game; lots of fun to be back in St Paul. Thought maybe there would be a few more Sioux fans there but they vastly outnumbered the Tommies. Our goalie looks to be solid and I thought our D cleaned up a lot of the sloppiness from Friday. St Thomas could not hang with UND 5x5; just too much firepower for North Dakota tonight. Their best chance was getting on the power play and they did make UND pay on the 5 on 3 (or maybe it was 5 on 4 by the time they scored). Sioux depth was just too much for them tonight. Glad to see more guys getting their first goal of the year...hope we are firing on all cylinders for the upcoming rodent invasion next weekend.

Usually there’s several options listed under each game. I’ve had some luck with Vodcast or Fluidtv options. Can’t vouch for whether or not you need to worry about viruses.

The Sioux went to Yost for NCAA regional in 1998 and as legend has it, they had to dress in a tent out in the parking lot.?.? Not sure why Sioux didn't get a locker room; is this really true? Anyway, UND goes up 2-0 and then goes on a 5 minute power play but does not score. Michigan comes back to win the game 4-3 and goes on to win the NCAA title.
