I found it interesting that in the majority of interviews on tv/radio in the twin cities throughout the season, Guentzel was consistently identified as one of the primary reasons for the Rodents resurgence. (especially by the players) Lucia was rarely mentioned it seemed except for his failure to call a timeout in the Final Five semifinal against the Sioux. The gofs gonna keep him around so he can take over once Lucia-pet leaves to become pig-10 hockey commish?

Good...maybe Lucia-pet will bring his pal John Hill back...

Really? Goren lead the country in goals his last year if I'm not mistaken and also lead his team to a championship...I'm not harshing on Nelson but Goren had a pretty big upside when he was done at UND. This next season could/would have been Nelson's year to really dominate at this level IMO.

Well the Sioux proved they can score on Patterson, so I feel it will come down to what kind of energy the boys bring into the game. Oh, and Dell is gonna need to play well. . Go Sioux!

Nope, just a few...saw Guentzel checking out the other teams practices...I'm guessing most teams aren't putting in new schemes during the open practice at the regionals so there's not a lot to see...

Went to the open practice today down at the X...my 4 year old son got a puck from Coach Eades, he was pumped! No Sioux logos anywhere in sight, practice jerseys just had 'North Dakota' on them...team still looked pretty good though

Just got mine for Saturday...club level 113. Can't wait!
