Christ, has it really come down to this?...I spent one of the best nights of my life watching the FIGHTING SIOUX win the McNaughton (against UW) and later watched my 4 yr old son really understand the significance of the win...We watched the FIGHTING SIOUX skate around with the McNaughton Cup shortly thereafter (the win in the WCHA quarterfinals) and no one can take that away...Screw you PC Idiots!

I agree with pretty much everything you said...the Sioux did not play bad on Friday, they just couldn't get a bounce...Eidsness made a bad play but you still gotta put the puck in the net to win...I felt pretty bad after losing to UW but I think going out east will give the Sioux a chance to regroup...to quote the movie Apollo 13, "with all due respect sir, I think this will be our finest hour"....Go Sioux, take it to'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last time no Gophers or Eagles in the tourney was the 1981-82 season...Buetow was coaching the mighty "M"s and Len Ceglarski was in charge of the Eagles...feels really good without any Maroon (other than UMD) in the tourney...that is, as long as there is no conspiracy to get BC or the Gofs in!!

wow, a whole lot of gloom and doom on the board...may as well just pack it up before the NCAAs start...the Sioux had pretty good EFFORT last night, it just didn't translate into goals...that will happen...the Sioux found ways to win at the end of the season, so it may not have been pretty but that got them where they needed to be for the NCAAs...PP and PK need some work but a win today will go a long way to getting their focus for the big tourney...
