Thrashing is exactly what it was, whether you admit it or not...the Bruins totally shut down above-average players like Crosby and Malkin and the games were not as close as your scoreboard would indicate. As far as consistency in an argument, you have to be joking...good one Dave K!
I wouldn't consider the Bruins thrashing of the Penguins an upset; going into the series the teams seemed fairly evenly matched...that is, until the puck dropped.
Mafia, I've reviewed the footage you provided and can without a doubt verify that not only is this video authentic, but it totally backs up the earlier comments by the former referee regarding Neal. The book is closed on this one, nice job Mafia.
In the tourney pick sheet we've been doing for the past 10 years, we use total goals for all 3 Frozen Four Games as the tiebreaker...we use Price is Right rules, closest to the total without going over...it has come down to te tiebreaker several times and this works pretty good.
Watched the BC game against Michigan State in the other side of the bracket that year...Sean Horcoff and Adam Hall for MSU were just lights out with the puck...BC scores late in regulation with the goalie pulled to send into OT....BC ended up winning 6-5 in OT I believe and all but one of their goals was on the pp. The next nite BC gets Bucky...we had just watched the Sioux punch their ticket for the F4 against Niagra so we stuck around to watch the number one Badgers work them over...apparently nobody told BC as they dominated the Badgers....and a week later we got to see BC one more time in Providence which turned into title #7 for the Fighting Sioux.
