As many of you know, ss.com members have provided assistance to UND’s football program in recent years. In seven different drives, we have provided $60,000+ for a variety of purposes: knee & ankle braces, Guardian caps, upgraded video equipment, new jackets for cold weather games, etc. Last year, we raised over $12,000 for OL knee braces and new practice equipment. For now, we will put LHB8 on hold. I had hoped Phase II of the Pollack Athletic Center would have been announced by now. If it had, we would have raised funds for something the football program needed but wasn’t included in the Phase II budget. If the interest among ss.com members appears to be there, we will undertake this drive when the timetable for Phase II is announced. Thanks again to the many of you who have helped our LHB efforts in the past!

At least one meeting with UND boosters has taken place. This isn't something you are going to hear much about until something tangible has been determined. Unfortunately, NIL and other recent NCAA decisions is going to make the difference between the "haves" and "have nots" in lower and mid-DI schools even more pronounced. I don't know which category UND will fall. It could be the "have nots" as our (Champions Club) annual fundraising efforts do not raise enough $ yet to fully fund all athletic scholarships. Until that happens, it is going to be a challenge!

It appears Ndoukou will join the team for the second semester (then redshirt, I assume). Eligibility issues have now been addressed but not soon enough for this fall.

It may not mean much for you but it is huge for UND football. We are continuing to expand our recruiting efforts farther south in the Midwest each year. The exposure for prospects in NE, KS, MO, western IA and throughout the country is invaluable - especially if we give them a good game! Hopefully, the game will get the team in the right frame of mind for UNI and the rest of the season. Lastly, the guarantee pays a lot of bills!

Another MI offer: PG Kendyl Smith, 5'8", Linden (Lake Fenton), MI Has offer from CMU She will be tough to get - some rate her as the top '26 PG in the state.

Feeney - scholarship Romfo - PWO

Your first paragraph above is absolutely incorrect. You would be surprised what Kris does for other sports. Of course, hockey is No. 1 for her but there is other support that isn't publicized.

Pierre is focusing on Law School - can't fault him for that!

New commitment: @MattSchoeneckr · 28m I am very excited to announce my commitment to @UNDfootball Thank you to all my coach’s at @NewPragueFB who helped me along the way.

I think decisions are still being made. He might be here for the second semester.

Thanks, HH - you are doing a great job! It is a lot of work and very time-consuming!

Recent offer: SG Tyson Ruud, 6'5", 190, Basehor (Basehor-Linwood), KS Has DII offers We only have one scholarship available for next year (that will likely change after the season) so this kid must be talented. His numbers weren't crazy good on their 18-3 team averaging about 15/game but he shot 57% from the field, 3's at 43% and FTs at 80%. Bashor is a town of 6-7,000 west of KC, south of Leavenworth.

Another: PF Tory Jennisson, 6'3", Sauk Centre West Central), MN

This is not meant to be a negative statement but you can be assured that we haven't had anyone too talented in 25+ years! We were the only DI school to offer either Bruns or Ihenacho!
-
No surprise - Isaac will follow his brother to USD!
-
Dissette's sister goes to SU so that may have been a factor in his decision. Too bad - I think he will be very good!
-
New offer: C Jaiden Haile, 6'2", Horace (Horace), ND

I am sure that your bolded statement is not correct! The coaching staff knew they were taking a chance on him and did their best to make him a better person while allowing him to excel on the field. I think they were holding their breath every minute he was a UND student.

There are 15 players on the roster. Hong and Nicholson are walk-ons and will likely redshirt. Early season injuries may add another player or two to the redshirt list.
-
A couple more: SG Madi Morson, 5'8", Canton (Salem), MI Has offer from Detroit Mercy G Christian Sanders, 5'9”, Detroit (Rennaissance), MI Has offers from Oakland, Niagara, Bethune Cookman & WMU Averaged 17 as a soph.

I was wondering the same thing. The girl kneeling may be one of them!
-
I agree but still wonder why no other DI school had any interest in him!
