  1. This will prove that I am an old fart but I remember when the Big Green Club annually raised twice as much as the Team Makers!
  2. Fully agree but it won’t change until UND figures out how to raise more $ from FB alums (and FB fans) and the Champions Club realizes they can raise much more by simply setting some goals and using better common sense in their communication and marketing!!
  3. For years, many talented coaches have been interested in our openings (in all non-hockey sports) UNTIL they learned what we were able to pay them. Former UND players and coaches have been willing return to GF for less $!!
  4. That might be a pretty good deal. With the limited attendance at other revenue sports, hockey probably accounts for much more than 52% of all ticket revenue!
  5. UND did get a commitment for $10M from Altru in 2012. Many do not know that it was to be paid over 10 years - $1M/year for the 10 years. I better not provide too much info but let's just say UND has not received 10 checks.
  6. Hope I'm wrong.... UNA 31 UND 24

Not nearly as much as they could/should - a lot of growth is possible with improved focus and some hard work!
  8. Hope I’m wrong: Neb 37 UND 20
  9. We should be proud that Let’s Help Bubba 4 purchased the Guardian helmets you see in this DayByDay!
  10. And their two starting OTs are 6’9” and 6’10”!
  11. She left school not knowing if she wanted to continue playing BB. That said, she may be playing somewhere.
  12. Good to get that first win! I understand the Tupacs already have commitments from 5 very talented 2023 prospects.
  13. You can be assured that the P5 schools are already "paying their players!
  14. I don't disagree with these posts. I will look into it but I don't think we could use the Foundations system to collect the $ (as we have done with all the previous drives).
  15. It is my understanding (and I hope this info is correct) that Beal has qualified and is officially enrolled at UND. We should know for sure soon.
  16. I had thought about that but assumed our total would be a drop in the bucket compared to what is needed. Any other opinions on this?
  17. As many of you know, ss.com members have provided assistance to UND’s football program in recent years. In seven different drives, we have provided $60,000+ for a variety of purposes: knee & ankle braces, Guardian caps, upgraded video equipment, new jackets for cold weather games, etc. Last year, we raised over $12,000 for OL knee braces and new practice equipment. For now, we will put LHB8 on hold. I had hoped Phase II of the Pollack Athletic Center would have been announced by now. If it had, we would have raised funds for something the football program needed but wasn’t included in the Phase II budget. If the interest among ss.com members appears to be there, we will undertake this drive when the timetable for Phase II is announced. Thanks again to the many of you who have helped our LHB efforts in the past!
  18. At least one meeting with UND boosters has taken place. This isn't something you are going to hear much about until something tangible has been determined. Unfortunately, NIL and other recent NCAA decisions is going to make the difference between the "haves" and "have nots" in lower and mid-DI schools even more pronounced. I don't know which category UND will fall. It could be the "have nots" as our (Champions Club) annual fundraising efforts do not raise enough $ yet to fully fund all athletic scholarships. Until that happens, it is going to be a challenge!
  19. It appears Ndoukou will join the team for the second semester (then redshirt, I assume). Eligibility issues have now been addressed but not soon enough for this fall.
  20. It may not mean much for you but it is huge for UND football. We are continuing to expand our recruiting efforts farther south in the Midwest each year. The exposure for prospects in NE, KS, MO, western IA and throughout the country is invaluable - especially if we give them a good game! Hopefully, the game will get the team in the right frame of mind for UNI and the rest of the season. Lastly, the guarantee pays a lot of bills!
  21. Another MI offer: PG Kendyl Smith, 5'8", Linden (Lake Fenton), MI Has offer from CMU She will be tough to get - some rate her as the top '26 PG in the state.
