It is a good thing Sather doesn’t have any hair - this is going to be a frustrating year for him!

I don't know the final number but we submitted what we feel was an aggressive first round bid. UND anted up $ XXX and then boosters & FB lettermen made commitments to increase the bid to what we hope is a successful level. Some of the numbers being quoted here are quite high for first round games.

I expect next year's roster will be significantly different over and above the three seniors departing! Had Sather arrived earlier, I think this year's roster would be quite a bit different.

It may be a longer year than I had anticipated!

I don't live in ND so this may be common knowledge up there but apparently Paul Sather, the new BB coach, has a son playing at Red River who is 6'3", 295. He is a junior. Anyone know if he has DI potential?

While I certainly hope you are correct, this recruiting class (similar to the last couple) appear to be quite average. We aren't getting many commitments from prospects that were highly recruited by other FCS teams.
