We are playing quite well!

Thanks for posting - that is quite a testimonial!!

In many recent years (including this year) about this time, UND's swimming teams are ranked 1st or 2nd in the country. Yet, we normally finish 3rd-5th at the end of the season - often a long ways behind the champion. Any idea why we are consistently ranked so high early in the season? Please don't take this question to infer that I am disappointed that we can't win the NCAA title. Our swimming and diving teams do a great job - especially considering our northern, rather remote location!

I appreciate your candid and unbiased thoughts about the game and the two teams.

I saw the women play at the Disney Tourney last night. A lot of talent but we didn't play too well. Of course, it is still early and Langen's absence didn't help. Hopefully, her ankle will heal quickly. She was on crutches but seemed to be putting weight on her foot. Maffin played very well and I was impressed with Seay - cool and collected for a freshman.
