You are correct - I knew that but just typed the wrong name!

It was a miserable day. The assumption was that the Alabama guys wouldn't/couldn't compete with us - especially in 20 degree temps and wind. Although the first half was played quite evenly, Livingston had a nice lead due to some big plays. We got the ball on the 2nd half kickoff, got a first down or two, then Buck Kasowski had a 50-60 yard run that was called back due to a clip. We never really got it going after that. Many of us still think that, had that run not been called back, we may have back back to win that game. Bottom line - we lost 34-14.

Although I don't have anything definitive, I am sure that Nash will play. The NCAA is quite liberal in granting these type of exceptions. If there are no grade or transcript problems, I think we can assume he will play. Regarding Hobaugh, he was transferring for aeronautics. I would guess he was accepted and will sit out this upcoming year as a transfer.

Travis - During and after Schobert's junior year, he was reported to be one of the top recruits coming of Wisconsin in the 2012 graduation class. What happened - why did everyone back off on him?

I have no idea but I bet we "found" some $ for him in the last week or so. Unless the lure of UW gets to him, I think he will be in GF in a couple of weeks.

I fully would agree with this comment. If a new BSC thread would be implemented, I would hope that it only pertain to the conference in general (schools coming or going, etc.). Anything specific to an individual sport (football, basketball, etc.) should be under the appropriate thread.

We are apparently the first to offer Connor Voss, the 6'11" center from St. Cloud Cathedral. He is raw but appearently making very good progress in AAU ball this summer. There are a ton of schools looking at him. We are also looking at Scotty Tyler, a 6'7" forward from Grafton, WS Wiki has been updated with some other new info.
