I hate the gooph's and most of their fans as much as anybody, but the fact remains they have been playing some good hockey as of late, it's undeniable, the #1 ranking is credible. As much as it pains me to say that and wish it wasn't true, I'm afraid that it is. I'm not trying to be a jerk but making statements like "they should not have kept that spot because blah, blah, blah" is either stupidity or just trying to get under someon'e skin. Sorry folks, but this a classic example of people that have no clue. How long have you been watching Brian? Some on here have followed his career for a few years. If you had paid attention you would know what type of player he was. Commie, Greene, Smaby, and many others I'm sure I have omitted gave fans fits for the better part of two seasons. Those guys weren't really dominant until their third year. So, in the nicest, most respectful way that I can, I say you have no clue.

Plus, the Sioux have the luxury of practicing on the big ice before they go to minny, ect. if they choose.

I attend all home hockey games at the Ralph. I'm proud to say that every time I go, it is with a handful of Native American friends and family. They are proud to go to the arena, and everyone has a good time. There has never been one instance of the "racism" you claim happens at these games. Not one, ever, and no one has ever left the arena feeling uncomfortable for any reason. They go because they love hockey, and they love the university. They choose not to let something like Native American imagery destroy their happiness, but instead, celebrate their proud heritage and share it proudly with other's.
