Better take a look at what is happening in the WCHA this year. I believe JT is on pace for what 8 goals? I'm pretty sure Okposo has outperformed him in the stat's book so far (I really hate to use stat's as a measuring tool as different players play different roles, ect.) When it comes right down to it wins matter, Okposo and the goophs have them, and JT and co. don't. W's and L's are where it's at, and Okposo has been a big part of minny's success this year, like it or not.

Boy, I hope Okposo (and EJ) don't light our asses up like a Fourth of July Firework's show when we play minny this year. A statement like this may look awful stupid. For the record though, Johnny Toews is a world class talent and proves it time and time again.

This is a bad deal. You never like to see someone go out this way. Best wishes to Tyler and his family. However, I can't help but feel that the coaching staff did the right thing for the team and for Tyler. I'm sure this was not an easy decision for Lucia to make, but the best intrest of the team has to be considered here. I'm not willing to speculate on what might be "wrong" with Tyler, but making light of the situation is certainly not called for. This goes beyond hockey, or any sport, and comes down to a person, and I wish him all the best.
