The only fault with your logic wisioux is that the coaching staff said that they weren't going to treat this game any different than any other game. That's what scares me. I think if they play like they did Sat. against CC they can skate with any team in the country, bar none (to include maine, minny and anyone else with an m or w in their name.) I guess it is more of a matter of consistency than anything else.

So you admit that parking in crease is in fact part of their game plan, or are you denying that as well? As far as running the goaltender, it's happened on more than one occasion this year.

With the goophies propensity to stand in the crease, and now run goalies, I hope one of our d-men (uh-hum maybe #2) starts using some brute force to clear out the front of the net.

I not so sure Sioux-Hab, I think we should try our luck empty-netted for 60 minutes, with an extra attacker. This whole goalie thing is simply over-rated, who needs one.

I think what everyone is trying to say, in a round-about-way, is that our defense is so good we don't actually need a goalie.

Aside from an occasional ill-advised penalty , #24 works hard every time he is on the ice. I see no reason why he won't be playing pro hockey at some level.

This is a great life lesson for him then. We don't alway's get what we want, now do we. If we did I would be on a sandy beach somewhere getting pampered by Sports Illustrated swimsuit models.

I have no profound, in-depth analysis about this series with wisco. Only this one simple theory: if this team continues to play like they did last Friday (especially in our own end), it will be a miserable weekend. I would go so far as to say zero out of four points. Sorry for being a "glass is half empty kind of guy" this morning. It is well past time to start playing "Fighting Sioux Hockey" on a regular basis, not just a period here or there. Hopefully they are firing on all cylinder's this weekend, and don't look back untill the end of the year.

The kid's played what all of 4-6 games. These are the same people that were calling for Hak's head half way through his first season. C'mon give the kid a little time. I don't recall JPar or Lammy being outstanding when they first started either.

Next time I see AG I'll try to rember to tell him that he sucks and is not worthy to wear the Sioux jersey. I hope he's not to dissapointed.

Does it really matter? The important thing here is that Phil is able to play. There are better things to discuss, let's move on shall we.

I have Joe Finley's game worn throwback jersey from last year. Signed by big #2 himself, very cool, took a picture with him and everything.

Seem's to me the Sioux made a FF run last year with only two senior's on the roster, and 13 Freshman. Ten of those freshman saw regular playing time. Looks like another brown and yellow sympathizer's lame excuse to me. Last year wouldn't have mattered any way, poltuny and irmen would still have been crying outside the locker room, just one day later. They would have run headlong into a buzz-saw turning at full speed.

TJ and JT are two very important pieces to this puzzle. However, it is a team, and a team effort is needed to be succesful. I still think they need to establish some chemistry and find some line combination's that "click." Brad Miller has answered the call to step up this year as far as I'm concerned. Now a few other's need to answer that same call, and they will. Watkins and Kozek have great potential, and they will come around. Hak seems pleased with the work ethic and I feel the rest will fall into place. Getting everyone healthy is another big issue, we need leaderhip out of player's like Fabian (and other veteran's), so hopefully he will be available. Let's get Phil back between the pipe's, shore up the defense, and buckle up for the ride this weekend.
