It's working for me. Freezing a bit, but very minor. Otherwise working good.

I'm not saying this is set in stone, but I have good sources (both from GF and Fargo) that believe that the state tournament will eventually rotate between the REA and UP Center. I'm not sure how many more years the REA has the contract for this, so it still will be a few years off...and I'm sure things could change in that time. Also, not sure if it would be an every other year thing or not. Just reporting what I've been able to find on this subject.

Thanks. I also found if you go to NHL.com and hover over the News menu there is an NHL Entry Draft option. Here there was an article titled "Tavares, Hedman top midterm draft lists". If you click on that article there were links halfway down on the right to the NA and European skaters and goalies rankings. I was surprised at how much digging I had to do to find this. I agree that it's early yet, and also when you look at it, their record does not seem that great (18-19-2). However, they are in 3rd place in the West division with 38 points (would be tied for 5th in the East division). 4 teams from each division make the playoffs. For a first year expansion team it is no small feat if they should make the playoffs. The arena and the "newness" of the team right now are a big draw, but playing well, having success on the ice and making the playoffs may go a long way to keep fans.

You bring up a good point. USHL refs are young and good, and typically move up to bigger leagues such as the AHL (and beyond). The WCHA refs aren't going anywhere except to the retirement home when they're done...but it's basically a dead end.

The weekend of Feb 13th and 14th vs. Mankato will be big, so the Sioux have to be careful to play their game against Bye, but not get caught up in the crap and risk losing anyone to a fighting suspension. I know that Bye has been willing to mix it up in the past, and we all know that the Sioux are just a bunch of goons. It will be interesting to say the least...

Bye did win in Houghton? For some reason I thought Bye hadn't won a game yet this year. Have they gone to AK yet?

I didn't see it, but Woog just said the check from behind call on Stoa was not a good call. Said it was shoulder to shoulder and it took Minn's best shooter out of the game so shouldn't have been called! Anyone see it or have the video?

That is crazy! I read that thread and then shortly after I saw you updated your picture. When I saw the picture on the front page I thought you were making a joke and you put Doogie Howser's picture out there! That's really you!?!!!

That's obviously an altered photo or video frame. Hakstol would never do that. Plus, if he really did do that I'd think that we'd have heard about it by now from other fanbases, hockey writers, blogs, etc.
