By the way, the Steven A. Austin team that NDSU had their hands full with yesterday also got beat by Delta State. There is no doubt that the NCC and the top teams in DII play and excellent quality of football.

I see the halftime score in Northern Iowa's game with Iowa State is NORTHERN IOWA 21 IOWA STATE 7. If that score were to hold it would be very impressive.

Gene Taylor said that they for sure would want the first Sioux Bison game to be in Fargo and they might want the first two in Fargo. The first game should be in Fargo but the next one should definitely be in Grand Forks. If they want to play the game it should be alternated between Fargo and Grand Forks. They would want the game just as much as us. In the other major sports I could see why they might be mad at us for not playing them right away when they left the NCC. In football they have no gripe against us. Dale didn't play them because it would hurt our playoff chances...period. I hope Bunning doesn't cave in to those demands from Taylor. If the Bison don't want to play alternate site games with us in football they can go fly a kite. Bunning.. please stand firm.

I am wondering if the Alerus people were thinking of the possibility of some small bleachers in the four corners but on the sidelines rather than in the end zones. I don't know. I'm just speculating.

I noticed the Bison had 16,000 fans at their game. I also heard they were giving away tickets like crazy. I heard they were giving them away at Scheels and all over the radio waves all week. Are those give aways counted as sold tickets. Our attendance is still very good since the Fargo area has about three times the population. The Rocky thing brought in a lot of people too. I see they cheered his return and for the most part "boo"ed him out of town a few years ago. This Sioux team is really fun to watch. Offensively it is really fun to watch a team that your never sure what rabbit they are going to pull out of their hat.

After watching the Sioux television show tonight, I saw something in a Sioux football team that is new and exciting. In fact I saw three things. Dressler Chapell Strouth. We have three burners this year. It's going to be a fun year to watch our offense. I think Hammer does an excellent job with the television show. It was great.

If the Sioux athletic department wanted to make some extra money they should put together a tape of the game from their game tapes and sell it for 10 or 20 dollars. Believe me they would sell a ton of them. Just a suggestion. UNBELIEVABLE victory. Go Sioux.

That is incorrect my friend. The NDSU men's team averaged 2488 and their women's team averaged 1927. That is a total of 4415. The UND men averaged 2279 and UND's women team averaged 2292. That is a total of 4571. It would appear that UND had a larger attendance average to watch their games at home than NDSU. At UND we have a lot of interest in our women's team too. But NDSU did beat Wisconsin in men's basketball though. It seems like I've heard that somewhere before.

Hopefully when the radio boys have Lennon on tomorrow they will ask him some "tough " questions . I know when they did have Lennon on after we went DI they didn't ask the questions a lot of people wanted to know. Most Sioux fans are still curious about what Lennon thinks about the Northern Iowa game. The media have never talked to him about it. Hopefully the radio boys will ask him if he was " for " the game or "not". Since we are playing the Northern Iowa game what is his gut feeling about what the game will be like. Is this a rebuilding year for our defense or a reloading year. How much has it hurt us with the constant changes in our coaching staff. At what position does he anticipate Chappelle being used at. At the top of the list of questions to ask Dale though is whether he was for the Northern Iowa game or not. Is there any penalty for playing a DIAA game now? If there is a penalty how does it compare to when we had the whole Bison scenerio a couple years ago? What is your gut feeling as to when we will be paying NDSU and SDSU again? In this six year transition what would you anticipate to to be the topughest years to recruit to? Would it be years 1 and 2, or would it be years 3 and 4 ? Go Sioux!!!!

I remember when Chapman first became President of NDSU he spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to remodel part of the presidents house and paricularly the deck and hot tub area. The only problem was the state had just finished remodeling those same areas. A lot of people thought it was quite ridiculous and pompous at the time and a complete duplication and waste of taxpayers money. The airwaves or talk shows in Fargo at the time were quite disgusted with his arrogant attitude. I guess were starting to see the real Chapman appear again. He is definitely full of himself.

RD17 do you know how to have McFeeley read what you just wrote? Does he have an E-Mail address? I know McFeeley admits reading Bisonville. I suppose a person could send a comment to the Forum or some blog. It would be fun to have McFeeley and other people see how silly his comments really look. Anyway RD17 that was a very good post. Your right, he should pull up all his posts about the subject and not just the posts that him look good.

I love it when "Nanobison" or Nonobison" gets it handed to him and then he squirms and says lets get back on topic. I guess apparently any extra money donated to NDSU should go to academics then too, right. I'm sure NDSU and their athletic programs aren't looking for any extra money now. There doing a lot of begging right now from what I hear. Remember the last nine million could be used as UND saw fit. NDSU is really the foolish one. They spent a ton of money to hire a consultant and then didn't listen to them and then they have the gaul to ridicule us for not hiring a consultant. Nano, you better go back to the most classless website around...Bisonville. You Bison fans should worry more about NDSU and a whole lot less about UND.

NDSU has a few areas of strength in their academics too. They don't need to hang their heads that low. Ndsu needs to give it time. UND didn't attain all the high academic areas over night(Medicine, Law, Aviation, etc.). I guess NDSU will always be a follower to UND in academics. There is nothing wrong with second place.

After reading those posts it makes me feel even better about his hire. It looks like he is a respected coach and just as importantly he would appear to be a person of high character. Can't wait for next year.

I personally like the hire. He seemed like a very good candidate at the interview. Let's get behind him and give him the support he needs. Go Sioux.

I don't think there is any doubt that we are not serious about DI. It's is almost comical that we wouldn't know the deadline had been changed. Either they must think were fools to believe they didn't know or they are fools for not knowing. What kind of leadership do we have? If you are at all serious about a possible move or just even considering it slightly there is NO excuse for NOT KNOWING the date had been changed.

When the Mens basketball job was opened up were the five year experience and the Masters qualifications listed on the requirements? What did the advertisement look like? I was just wondering why some of these people even applied if they didn't even fit the specs for the job anyway(for example Smith from Mayville).

NDSU fans sure spend a lot of time worrying about UND and Grand Forks. They just seem obsessed about us. They spend a lot more time talking about our issues than we do. I guess they just can't get along without us. It's actually quite funny.

What great news!!!!! Let's do our best to keep honoring the traditions of the Native American people. Hopefully this will be a new beginning of a truly great relationship. Let's not mess it up. Hopefully the UND administration will continue to try to improve the relationship. Sioux fans do truly honor and respect the Sioux logo and respect what it means to the Native American people. There is an article in todays Fargo Forum about Ashley Samuelson from Underwood Minnesota and that she is transferring from Colorado State and wants to play for either the Sioux or the Bison. In 2004 she was the Fargo Forum player of the year. She played one year there. Amy has 5 more scholarships than Gene to start with. We lost two players this year and we have 3 players coming in now so I wonder if Gene even has any money available to entice her here. She was released at Colorado State so does anybody know how good she is.

I know we have a recruit coming in from Iowa. Does anybody know what her season was like and what expectations there are for her next year as a Sioux. How good is she?

They just reopened their UND smack site again over on Bisonville . It's hilarious. They just can't get UND off there mind. You gotta love it.

I see where next years Women's Elite 8 is in Kearney Nebraska . That is definitely a driveable location. Let's go Sioux.

Let's see. Michigan, Michigan State, Boston College, Boston University, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Denver, Ohio State,....... The National DIAA National Champion is Appalachian State. Which would carry more prestige. I think I would choose the Frozen Four. Coach Bohl should think before he makes such idiotic statements. What do we have another Rocky in Fargo. When you get a coaching job at NDSU it must be a requirement that eventually you make totally ridiculous statements. When a person makes statements like that you tend to loose all your credibility. Fargo will never get over the envy they have for our Hockey program. It took a long time to build the prestigious history we have in hockey. They have a very long way to go in there DI sports. Frankly, in their DI sports they might never have any extended post season history. They might never even have a post season. They certainly will never win any national championships in their DI sports. They might win a title in their DIAA sport.

What an insulting remark. They had and absolutely terrific and wonderful season. Yea they lost to a very good St. Cloud team in the last game of the Regional. Yes that is disappointing. But please don't downplay the rest of the season. That is a real slap in the face to the women and how they worked their butts off to win the first 34 games in a row. Great season. I'm looking forward to next year. Sometimes life is cruel but we all have to move forward and remember the good times. Go Sioux. Remember there are no guarantees when you step on the court. The women wanted to win just as bad as we wanted them to win. We should all be very proud of them.
