Diggler, you are to this board what Mike Prpich is to a hockey team.

They don't seem to have a specific area for any teams. We always get the same seats, 6th row in section 109 and the same Gopher fans sit behind us every year. We have actually gotten to be friends over the years and have even met up with them the last 2 Frozen Fours. So there are some decent Gopher fans... though few and far between! Any seat at the Xcel is going to be a good seat. Beer lines are never long. Wally the beerman usually parks his stuff right behind our section! I don't know about the men's restroom lines.. I don't go there.

I got some pretty random scores at odd times too. I was in Minneapolis so I was up on what was actually going on with the games, but if I had been away from a radio or TV I would have been totally confused. Yeah, stupid gophers. Thanks for fixing that. It has been fun mostly.

Innocent until proven guilty. They need to go to court first, which will just be before a judge and he/she will decide their punishment if they are found guilty. It's possible court won't be until after the hockey season.

If you read what WDAZ reported, it says they were minors in a bar, not that they were minors in consumption. It is still against the law, but it could take the edge off a bit. As for Robbie Bina and the obstruction charge. It could be something as minor as trying to hustle them out the back door as quick as he could too. Sometimes the news and the police reports get a bit carried away. Who knows?

I know what's going on. That picture of JT and the beer bong was taken after JT dropped the F-bomb following his excitement after the Canada win at the World Jrs in Sweden and his teammates were just making him clean his mouth out with beer instead of soap. The night at Judy's Tavern was simply Robbie Bina helping JT out again because he probably dropped the F-bomb after the Minnesota sweep. TJ Oshie was probably just there helping him, because they are friends and he dislikes all the cussing JT has been doing after winning games lately. So Robbie Bina is my hero now and they need to drop the charges against him.

It looks to me like the committee members are not quite in agreement. At least S. Douglas Olson is admitting that they really have not put much thought into this yet.

My kids at UND said Phil did get in a fight over a girl, but that was how he got the black eye. His eye is a long ways from his ankle, so I doubt they were related in any way. This is rumor, of course.

There is a fight in NYC going on because transgender persons want to be able to use which ever one they want and parents (it might be PC wrong to say mothers or fathers) of small children are upset that they have to wonder who is using the restroom with them.

What worries me the most is that once everyone gets their PC way, we will lose all identity. The PC crowd is picking away at everything one item at a time. From Christmas trees to holiday trees. How long will it be before it is wrong to eat at Mexican, Italian, or Chinese restaurants? No more men's and women's restrooms? I could go on and on with examples. It is headed in that direction and it scares me.

I finally went and had a look at GK's myspace page. (He attacked me before he was banned here too.) What he has just as titles on his "blog" is totally uncalled for. I have never seen anyone call him out for his race as he does to non-indians. This man is not worth my time, or anyone else's. Could it be that his IP address has changed since he is no longer holding the position he was holding? Did him quitting cause a move to a new residence and Internet Provider? If so, dumbpeoplesuk could easily be GK. Just an idea. I don't think Sioux-cia should have to put up with what he is doing to her. I would probably think about getting a protection order. Seriously. Sorry if this is off topic, but I had to say it.

And if UND has to stop officially using the Sioux name and the logo, no one will be policing how the Sioux name is used. At least now, people are concerned about keeping the respect and having honor for the Sioux name. I can see this backfiring and things could possibly get pretty ugly. Only time will tell. But again, look at Dartmouth. The Dakota Student could get some competition.

I am the type that would just yell back "No Go Sioux" or "something" and smile back. Being on opposite ends of an issue does not have to break up friendships if you don't let it. Just keep it light-hearted. My daughter is a TOTAL liberal and I am very conservative. We do not agree on many issues, but we still love each other dearly. That's just life.

I am sorry, undsportsfan, that you have had to endure the problems of this situation. May I ask if the problem has gotten worse since the NCAA stuck their nose into it? Do you think the NCAA has really helped to improve the situation? I know that the use of the Sioux name really wasn't talked about or thought about much around here until it got dragged into the mud. Now people don't know how to act. If I see an Indian wearing Sioux logo gear, do I bring it up.. no, but some people do, only because it has been in the news too much. If I am talking to my Indian friends, do I ask them how they feel, no, because I am uncomfortable about it now. Did I feel uncomfortable 2 years, or even 1 year ago? No. The only thing that has happened is that everyone has become ultra-sensitive over the whole thing. Should we change the logo? I don't know right now. But I do know that we should not change it under the pressure of an organization such as the NCAA. I will not change my mind on that. PS: I have noticed that even the Spirit Lake Nation website has changed back and forth between Spirit Lake Nation Dakotah Sioux Tribe and Spirit Lake Dakotah Nation. Why is that happening?

Its like getting used to a new pastor at a church. It takes time to get used to how the new guy runs the program. And they seem to be the new guy for about 5 years.

If you can, I would go when you can see the locker rooms, the workout area, hot tubs and sauna, the players lounge, and even the compressors and where the bus comes into the basement. Heck, I even got to look in Denny's office and fridge! I thought those were some of the neatest parts.
