I think you are exactly right on your assessment. FSSN was a fantastic idea which I'm sure was intended mainly for state-wide hockey exposure. Now, with present technology, it's exceeded that. It's enabled Sioux hockey fans all over the country to see a bunch of games via satellite. I especially agree with the Friday/Saturday comment. Personally, I get to see a couple of games at the REA a year. The rest I catch on TV when they're available. It sure helps pass the winter. To go home to a nice warm basement with a big screen to watch Sioux hockey when it's 20 below is pretty sweet. In my small (2,000) ND community, there's way more Sioux hockey fans then there was 20 years ago. And, many of them are Bison FB fans.

I hope the digital signal will allow me to see the 3rd period tonight, unlike last night.

Watched on Polar cable. Missed third period because of a horribly scrambled digital signal. Was it just Polar? Was it just me? How was MIDCO? How were the other TV venues?

Which brings me around to the earlier question......do the players themselves make the decision to either comment or not on their condition, or are they advised by the team or someone else not to? ......just wondering.

So, you're saying the players in question could be specific on their injuries? If so, why aren't/don't they? Again, are they instructed not to by their teams, NCAA, or other?

So......the players themselves are under a gag order by the team or some other entity?

With the weather supposedly turning crappy Thursday, I was wondering if the Sioux leave for Duluth tomorrow or Thursday morning?

It's a game that SHOULD be on TV, but probably won't.
