That's a very good point. But I am retiring this year after 40 years in education, and if someone had told me in 2000 I would be a retiree before they won another one, I would not have believed them. As I think I have said before on here in the past, I just hope they win one more before I die.

I'm almost 62 and have watched countless college games (especially UND's) on TV. Also taught school at Warroad, MN in late 70's so got to watch Dave Christian, the Brotens, etc. play HS hockey in northern MN. Geez , I just realized.....I might be overqualified!

My son graduated from NDSU in Dec 2011. He's a huge Sioux hockey fan. Four years at NDSU he refused to be brainwashed into the "Bison football is the only thing" mentality. You keep up the good work!

I know the possibility is remote, but let's say Ohio State did drop hockey in a few years. What happens to the Big 10 hockey conference then? No auto bid at the very least, right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only way the Big Ten conference can grow beyond the 6 teams is for another big ten school to suddenly decide to field a hockey team, right? I would think think that would be a real handicap to growing that league beyond the 6 teams.
