The Friday night game at Omaha and the Friday night game at Denver are the only ones I remember, I hope there's another.

It really did make me miss the NCC.

North Dakota citizens (and I'm saying a majority of them) are desperate to see both schools play again. It's part of out heritage that's been taken away.

TV's are damn cheap nowadays. I bought a 50" plasma Panasonic 1080p 2 years ago for my basement for $900 and it's been wonderful. We bought a 37" Panasonic LED for our upstairs in Oct.for $500 and it's been great too. I think you can find a TV for less than $500 in the size you are looking for, but I would stay away from the "off brands."

My daughter who is friends with someone (I don't recall who) in the athletic department told her it was September 22.

This is another reason I'm glad I don't live in Fargo.

She said she wants to try to get the 4 tickets together. (The people we want to get tickets for are also from Mandan!)

I think that was the year I saw my only game in the old barn. My one lingering recollection was of a guy standing up behind me, pulling a bottle of whiskey from under his ridiculously long overcoat, leaning back to take a pull from it, and toppling over backwards. Ah, the memories.

I've been a rabid Viking fan and Twins fan (ND born and raised) for 40+ years. With the Vikings noted failures and the Twins 2 championships I've become much more of a Twins fan. But I have to say since moving back to ND after teaching for 7 years in northern MN in 1981, I've become much more of a UND hockey fan than anything. I'd much rather see the Sioux win an NCAA hockey championship than the Vikings or Twins win the whole thing, although I would be very thrilled if either of them did.

How many shutouts did he have in his career? (just curious and can't remember)

I know he stuck it out in school for 3 years, but maybe he was just fed up with the being a student part of the whole deal. It happens.

Need 4 tickets for Sat. Nov. 17 Duluth game. Friends from Mandan have never been to the Ralph or have seen live Sioux hockey game. My wife and I would like to create another 2 UND hockey fanatics.

Does anyone out there know when the Meet the Sioux (or whatever they're calling it now) day is scheduled?

Comets baseball, maybe........(they did beat the Bison baseball team last spring).
