When Schlossman says the following in the chat after Tomek allowed that bad goal(the second goal): I get what you mean. I seem to recall Cam, Dell, and Zane doing the same thing when they finally got the opportunity to start games. Yet man oh man don't you dare question whether or not one of the other goalies should get a chance over Cam! PS I have no doubts about Cam being the starter. I just believe that sometimes a goalie needs a game off.

They both could help towards turning things around for their respective teams. That and both might prefer to have them be in the AHL to develop vs college.

Is anyone totally surprised though? I mean kind of had to figure the good times was gonna stop rolling at full cylinders at some point. Not an uncommon occurrence to see teams that won the national championship struggle the season after either.

Considering both Vancouver and Colorado suck, both teams will be pushing to sign Boeser and Jost respectively.

At this point, I'm just hoping this team makes the NCAA tournament.... Times running out to figure things out in the season.

Are you sure you aren't looking in the mirror at yourself? You don't see NCHC fans including championships previously won in a different conference. Yet it seems to be a BTHC fan thing to do to make them feel better for how impotent the conference has been so far or it's probably just you. Most likely the latter.

@DaveK There you go again cherry picking to fit your narrative. I think it's hilarious. Round and round we go! The NCHC has won more championships than the BTHC since the conferences began play and that fact trumps anything else that you can bring to the table.

@DaveK Please tell me that you realize you are doing the same exact thing of which you accuse another of doing? You are cherry picking as well by saying we have to go by your criteria since it fits your narrative. You can go ahead with that while everyone else knows one irrefutable fact and that is since conference realignment, the NCHC has one national championship while the Big Ten has none. It'll be interesting to see if any Big Ten team changes that fact this year.

This team should deservingly be embarrassed about their performance at home vs. on the road. So much for "defending" your home rink. Yikes. Guess there is tomorrow but opportunity lost when both Denver and UMD lost today.

Yep, 2011 will always sting. It's right up there next to 2003-2004 season for me. Eerily similar circumstances too.
