I agree on the "here we go again" part. I call bs on anyone who denies it didn't cross their mind even if just fleetingly when Denver tied it up. With that said, it is obvious no side is going to win this discussion. Should all just agree to disagree and continue celebrating that UND won the national title!

Hear, hear! Cam was locked in all NCAA tournament. What a performance out of him when we've seen goalies struggle in past tournaments. Cam was ready! What an amazing season/year this has been!

I follow the live chat during games and don't keep up with the game thread here. Finally finished reading through to catch up and wow you weren't kidding. I do sympathize though as I'm sure all of those folks were having immediate flashbacks of past UND Frozen Four semifinal games where the team folded. This years team has shown it can persevere when facing adversity! Keep the faith!

Tip of the hat to Cam Johnson. He was dialed/locked in tonight! The goals allowed were really nothing he could do about. Great performance from him tonight!

Thing is, it isn't a loophole at all. It's written in the collective bargaining agreement. Vesey is exercising his right. Vesey chose to get a Harvard degree before getting any NHL money when he certainly could've left early. Honestly, I don't think players, especially a 3rd rounder really owes anything to the team that drafted him. If Vesey didn't pan out, the team that drafted him wouldn't have signed him since they don't owe him anything either but heaven forbid if a player does it. With that said, it doesn't sound like Vesey handled the situation with tact in mind. If he lied and told Nashville that he was going to sign with them and then rescinded, that's low. PS Reading the HFBoards, the vitriol being spewed about Vesey....wowza!

They were good against other Big Ten teams though when they could score more goals than the opponents did. Honestly, that line was offensively gifted no doubt but defensively? Atrocious and they got exposed when they played a team that actually played defense. I always thought the CBS line and Denver's Pacific Rim Line are the best I've seen. The regional tournament confirmed that.

Gotta pay Denver back for 2005 and 2004. I'll never forget 2004 either. Denver is very good. I hope UND brings their A game like they did this weekend. Not sure I'm really a fan of the week off before playing again. Does help any players who are banged up, heal up a bit though.

Tomek and Gornall were sick and didn't make trip according to Brad. I think it'd be good if Tomek does apply for redshirt. He probably will leave early but doesn't hurt to retain that extra year of eligibility just in case.

Huh? If Ferris manages to beat Denver when they've already knocked off St. Cloud, I think that means they are good. Beating the second and third place teams of the NCHC to get to the Frozen Four would mean they are legit if you ask me. That's an "if" though since the game isn't over yet.
