Game against Michigan is going to be a good one. While I definitely don't mind spotting 6-8 goals so it'll ease my mind, I think it is going to be a much closer battle. A 3-2, 4-2(EN goal) result game. Hopefully it is the Sioux that are on the right end of things! GO SIOUX!!

I've always liked the Bulldogs but I'd say that Sandelin becoming your teams head coach created a soft spot for UMD. Certainly didn't negatively impact how Sioux fans thought of UMD.

Anyways, I don't have any problem cheering for UMD(the team) and good for you guys not wanting our charity. You already went to GPL to fill up your bandwagon so I understand.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Much like how Sioux fans consider Bemidji State an ally but learned that it isn't exactly a mutual feeling.

I've always liked Duluth but I really don't know what some of you are expecting? That they reciprocate and like the Sioux as well? Yeah, that isn't going to happen. Most if not all UMD fans hate the Sioux. While I'll be cheering for UMD to win against Notre Dame, don't hold your breathe to see any UMD fans cheering for the Sioux to beat Michigan.

Personally, I love it. Makes it that much more sweeter when we win games.

I don't recall the Sioux playing Maine this season. Talk about selective memory.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised to see him out there skating against Denver. He even scored a goal to boot. But other than those who are probably still nursing injuries(yet still playing), we survived this weekend with no one else getting hurt.

On the bright side, it gives any Sioux players who may be dinged up more time to heal up a bit more before having to play a good Michigan team.

Wow, looking at that list and seeing Patrick White at #9...and seeing how his career went with Minnesota makes me ponder why Vancouver picked him up with their 1st round draft pick.

I've been overall pretty excited about this game but the nervousness is beginning to settle in. I think I just need the puck to drop. GO SIOUX!!

I'm a fellow Sioux fan if I were in Michigan's position I would be upset but I'd understand why it was a no goal. If anything, it'd only fuel the Sioux to score even more. As the ESPN guys said, if this were in the NHL. It'd remain as a no goal. Common sense or not there isn't any CONCLUSIVE evidence. The way you use "conclude" is still making an assumption. Go ahead and try and label it any other way but the ref still is making an assumption. It was called a no goal on the ice, should've remained a no goal.

erm, yeah to be honest I bet the Michigan fans could see why it was a no goal and what would blais arguing do? It wouldn't change the call.

You had me worried thinking it was only going to be shown in eastern North Dakota. However, all ABC affiliate networks in North Dakota will be airing the game. Woohoo! So those who live in western ND, if you have KBMY(Bismarck) or KMCY(Minot). You'll have the game I believe. I'm pretty sure the towns of Williston and Dickinson have KBMY as a subchannel?

You are correct, last year Fox Sports North picked up the UND/Yale game. I don't think we'll have to do a whole lot. Immediately after the brackets were announced, Jayson Hajdu who is the SID tweeted that UND is already working on getting the game to be watchable on TV in North Dakota. Just gotta wait for more information to be released or an announcement from UND.

The team showed up to watch this game. They got some loud cheers when they were walking through the concourse. As for the game, UAA has had some opportunities but hasn't cashed in...CC scored 2 goals with only 5 SOG for the period.

That is what he had after Friday actually. His most recent is UND vs. Dartmouth in Green Bay with Notre Dame//Minnesota-Duluth. Which will no doubt change once again once conference tournaments wrap-up.
