I guess I don't get where you come away from reading that article and seeing him as a cancer. Or did I miss the sarcasm?

Initially, I was excited about the poll on USCHO, until I realized that it won't mean anything to GK, KTF, and Mako. I suspect that it will be totally discounted as nothing more than a rigged plot or a meaningless poll of opinions that don't matter. Explain to me how changing the name is going to better anyone's life. Continued belligerence is doing nothing but driving a wedge between people who have no other reason not to coexist peacefully.

What's with calling them the land cows? I know about the logo, etc., but I don't get it.

Must just be me... I used to respect Lucy at CC. Now he irritates me. His quote just kind of caught me as saying that UND could have never beat this UM team without UM dropping play a notch. ie. below the highest level that UND could ever hope to play at. What's with calling the Mavericks the land cows? I'm aware of their logo/mascot, but I don't get it?!

I know, and that's what really gives me an uneasy feeling about this team. And can I get some physical play in front of the net, please? I know I'm not the first person to ask this, but I'd like it just as much.

Okay, let's look at some of the statistics for the weekend for Phil. 8 GA - 6 were PPG - 2 were 5x3 - only 2 were 5x5 all weekend. Friday night he faced 48 shots. Saturday night he faced 43 shots. That is still a .912 save percentage. Phil was not the problem. Anyone remember the "winning" years? UND was outshooting the opponents almost every night. You do not get outshot almost every night and expect to win a whole lot of games. Those kids need to start making good passes, generating shots, and working hard. The only period I liked all weekend was the 3rd on Saturday. I thought they consistently played like this team should throughout that period. BTW, I like how Lucia-pet brushes off the loss by saying they (UND) stepped it up a notch and we (UM) dropped down a notch. Is he really that arrogant?

I'll have you know that I gave away a perfectly good, green, UND logo-ed Santa hat to a fine woman in Southgate one night because she said that her son would love it. The hat cost $20! Of course, I was drunk and she was cute!

You know, I've seen the overall record for the UofM vs. UND, but I'd like to see a year by year summary along with game scores, if anyone has access to those kinds of records??

Pardon my understanding of the plus/minus system, but how does he score 4 goals for the weekend while BSU as a team only scores 2, yet he only comes up with a +1 rating? I can't understand!

This is total hearsay, but I also heard that MN recruited Grant heavily because they wanted Ryan. Who knows? No one can truly say for sure what happened. As much as it ticks me off to lose to the gophers, it's hard to be angry with/at someone for taking whatever perceived lemons you have been given and making lemonade. It's all said and done and in the past. No one can do anything to change it now. Did I mention that I still hate losing to the gophers?
