Work is getting in the way again and I can't make it to the game on Saturday night. But that opens up 4 seats for someone else. I have 4 tickets at the top of Section 306 available for sale. This is the end that UND shoots twice each game. The tickets are in Grand Forks and we can arrange an easy pickup. I'm asking $20 each. It's the UND channel that is carried on MIDCO in Grand Forks.

I am pretty sure that the Grand Forks Herald came up with the idea of naming the blizzards and then did the honors. The idea was that they name hurricanes so why not name blizzards. Both are significant weather events that can affect a large area. There is a standard that must be met to be considered a blizzard that involves wind speed and snow fall among the variables.

That sign was put up before the first game this fall. The new boss out there was on the radio about that time and said that they had consulted with UND and decided it wasn't their place to get involved in the debate. They also didn't want to have to spend money to change it in a year or 2 if the name changes. It was simpler to just go with UND Football.

A decision for use of the name may not be as simple as "don't make any changes, keep things exactly as they are". My guess is they are looking at possible modifications to the current usage.

A lot of us don't know for sure until a week or 2 out whether we will be able to use our tickets or not.

Guest House is about 3 blocks west of the closest bar, Bonzers. Most of the bars are about 2 blocks further east along 3rd Street.

That isn't a legal document. It is a proposal that Mr. Caldis has put in front of the State Board of Higher Education. There is a story on the proposal in the Saturday edition of the Grand Forks Herald. He believes that under North Dakota state law the SBoHE could set aside the settlement within 1 year if they want to. This doesn't prove anything, it is one man's opinion.
