Wishful thinking. I would love for him to come back and therefore I can bitch about always getting to the frozen four, but never winning......boy were we spoiled.

The game has changed. When the floodgates of NIL entered the conversation, it changed everything, even for hockey. It's not as apparent as it is in football, but it is heading in that direction. It's a young coach's game today, and older coaches, in general, are having a difficult time communicating with this pedigree of hockey players who are looking for that next-school-up, when it comes to $$ and playing time. Berry is a coach of the past, and the game is passing him by. Whoever is on the radar for coaching, needs to be of the coaching capability in this new era of NCAA sports - of a pay-to-play. Scholarships and boarding just aren't enough these days.

Is there any way we can get a coach through the portal? 🤔

It's going to be a long second half of the season. Unfortunately, we will not make the playoffs. That in itself, should get Berry fired, But who knows with our AD, they might give him an extension. Until then, we can watch the continued degradation of Sioux hockey

Anytime you can beat a top 10 team, you did well. I only got to watch the highlights. But WOW, St. Cloud State's goalie was freaking amazing. Totally robbed the Sioux a number of goals tonight. Obviously a much better effort tonight from the boys. Need to match that if not more tomorrow. For at least tonight, the sky is not falling. Good win.

Time to can the whole coaching staff and start over. This is effing ridiculous....

Definitely been a dumpster of a season so far. Sure, the injuries have an impact, but I don't believe to this extent.

We've been asking for that for years. Unfortunately, he is here to stay for a long long time. His style of play has become so predictable that it's easy for teams to counter. We've got talent, just nobody to direct it.

You know, three championships in 7 years is pretty damn good and Carle has the formula on winning. You can b**** all we want about Berry, But as everybody has pointed out he ain't going to change his philosophy. Give credit to the pioneers today.

Glad the nchc holds the title again, I just hate that it's Denver. Got to give it to them and their coach - all they seem to do is win national titles.

BC is as good as advertised. DU will have their hands full, but if they can match their speed, they could pull it off.
