  1. Soon to be heard around the hockey communities but not soon enough, O' say can you sing..... O' Canada....
  2. If someone said the UND program was a springboard to the NHL, do you think he meant UND straight to NHL? Without knowing the entire content and context of the statement, I wouldn't call someone an idiot for saying that. UND certainly is a springboard to professional hockey with the desired final outcome being the NHL.
  3. I Love Fighting Sioux Hockey!!
  4. Good grief!!! Big city, little city, blah blah blah.. I was born and raised in Chicago. THAT's a big city. Minneapolis is a sprawling suburb. Big deal. No matter where I've lived, including Dewey,Illinois, polulation around 600, I was able to enjoy 'the arts', sports, bars, people, 'culture', etc. It's the twenty first centrury people!! We have motorized wagons, flying transportation. We can go anywhere we want and do what ever we want (if we can afford it). Quit with the 'mine is bigger than yours' whinning, already! ON TOPIC, UND fans are the best at home and on the rode (thanks to those new fangled motorized wagons).
  5. Kinda lost track of this thread! GO SIOUX!!
  6. I didn't realize he was so young, only 21. God willing, with renewed dedication, willingness, inner strength and his talent he'll pull through this. He's not played hockey for awhile so if he doesn't make it this summer, hopefully, he'll find something to 'dedicate' his life to and stay healthy and out of trouble. Good luck, Nate!
  7. Rob Guinn a CHL player died in a traffic accident. Prpich played with him in 2007. http://www.oursportscentral.com/services/r...ses/?id=3681306
  8. ..a fan that leaves the building before the game is over. ..a fan who only is a fan when their team wins. ..a fan who only goes to the game to drink as much beer as possible in three periods. ..a fan who bitches about his team the entire game when they're down. There's more but I'm kinda tired.
  9. Well than, I better get busy 'cause they ain't gold cans!!!
  10. I'm collecting cans so I can stay here, http://embassysuites1.hilton.com/en_US/es/...lumbia/index.do
  11. Great minds... I actually went to their arena's site to check it out. The only thing it has on the Ralph is more parking, 10,000 parking spaces.
  12. I admit that since I have season tickets now, I don't know if there is a waiting list for them or not. I do know that in the 1980s, 1990s and earlier this century, there was a several years long waiting list.
  13. Season tickets have had a waiting list as long as I can remember. I did miss some games but I honestly do not remember the Ralph ever being half empty. Well, during my sons' hockey camps at the U, perhaps, they were.
  14. Never half empty! Season tickets were still a hot commodity and there was a several years waiting list to get one. Just goes to show how many games you attended.
  15. Goofy's at the old Ralph, 2-15-'98. The second period was so quiet you could hear conversations a section away! In the third period, good things started happening on the ice. On DVD, watching the game you can see a guy in the student sections standing, waving his arms and yelling at the students to get up and get into the game. They did. We won. It was one of the most exciting games third periods I have ever seen. The students didn't get into that game until the team did, NOT the other way around.
  16. The Standing Rock tribal council has already made the decision NOT to let the tribe vote on the name and logo. We need TWO ND Sioux tribes to ok the name and logo. Unless this tribal council is voted out of office, the name and logo will be gone into history.
  17. Or Fetch can just TELL US!!!!!!!!!!!!!
