  1. Kick off! Done!!! Now it's time to drop the puck!!!
  2. I think this is a 'tongue in cheek' piece.
  3. C'mon now! Even bears can catch fish in Alaska!! But, I'm sure the boys on board will enjoy this photobucket remake a bit better than yours. *OMG, I'm a sexist! *
  4. Read it already. But, thanks for the link. Here's one that I think is unbiased. Any way you read it Palin did want to censor the library's book selection. People who don't agree with her lose their jobs. She bounces from one platform to another, contradicting herself in the process. I'm also wondering why the Alaska oil pipe line has to go through Canada. I can't find the link again (I've been reading too many links regarding both parties) but I did read that if the oil in the pipe line falls below a certain level Canada would be paid a 'penalty'. How does that benefit the U.S. economy? I just have to wait for the dust to settle (after the conventions) to hear more about how my country is going to benefit from one or the other candidate in office. Like it or not, a candidate who has had an invasive malignant melanoma may face that crisis again and his VP choice is going to be under a lot more scrutiny than anyother VP choice in history. IMHO, of course. I've got a lot of reading and decision making before I enter that booth come November. http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...EWS15/809070475
  5. Buddy Lee wears mascara!
  6. Censorship via book burning ('Do it or your fired!') scares the hell out of me.
  7. Nice piece, thanks for the link. I especially liked
  8. He's an old dude and the possibility that something medical could incapacitate him is a very real concern of mine. She's not my choice for 'President in waiting'. I have to hear alot more from both sides (besides the bashing of the other side) before I make any decisions.
  9. I was leaning toward McCain until his VP choice. Now what do I do??
  10. So, that wasn't beer foam?
  11. I hope everything works out ok for him and his family.
  12. Not quite true. American 'celebrities' routinely are contracted to advertise products in countries where English is not the language of choice. I don't believe they are required to speak the language of the country.
  13. and Se Ri Pak, Hee-Won Han, Mi Hyun Kim...
  14. Just about everyone (who is a hockey fan) knows the only team worth cheering for are THE NORTH DAKOTA FIGHTING SIOUX!!!
  15. I'm still waiting. I'm getting nervous. I'm sure my check cleared...............
  16. You must not get the Korean sports section in Fargo.
  17. Would you like to come visit the Alaskan bush?
  18. I'm so SOL!! It's a temporary assignment, so if there isn't a dish already there............
  19. If things work out, I'm either going to be living for almost the entire hockey season in the southern most point of Prince of Wales Island, Alaska or about three hundred miles north of there. I sure hope I get satellite!!
  20. Hmm, the LPGA is making English a requirement to play because they're kicking American speaking players' asses. I'm guessing the MLB may require English as a prerequisit to play if those damn furineers quit playing well!
