  1. No, misdemeanors will not get Toews deported.
  2. No, Bridget's not a dog's name! I do know a couple ............
  3. Stay in Grand Forks and play hockey for the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux Grand Forks community.
  4. Ok, ten days is considered excessive. Suspended ten days is ok. No probation, just stay clean for a year. Is a one year probation for T.J. standard for a minor on the premises/misdemeanor? Unsupervised or not, it's still probation.
  5. Unemployment here I come! I'm taking the summer off!! Wooowhoooo!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Ooops, sorry. Should have read the Toews watch to see if it was there first!
  7. For Jonny and T.J. the incident has been resolved. They're going to have to be pretty careful the next year. Robbie's case is still pending. http://www.grandforksherald.com/articles/index.cfm?id=35179
  8. NOOOOOOOOooooooooo.........................

  11. Ouch!*!*! Next year bring your own cup holders with hooks on them to hook onto the metal railing.
  12. Every minute he gets, the murderer gets two. You can't separate the victims from the murderer. They're tied together for all eternity. I think that RW77 is sick of the stories that appear to be portraying the murderer as a victim.
  13. The BAND belongs in the lower bowl. Sure there are a lot of cheering students but there are a lot of students who only go to the games to be seen, to make contacts for future jobs, to get drunk, to ogle the cheerleaders, to make out and/or to socialize. The BAND shouldn't have to give up their seats to students who go to the games and know nothing or care nothing about what's going on on the ice.
  14. Mmm, students must have had those seats before you. We have cup holders with our seats at the Xcel.
  15. Google Murder by Drowning...
  16. Shhh, some one may be listening and not hearing what you're saying!! http://www.ivygateblog.com/blog/2007/04/da...esurrected.html http://thedartmouth.com/2007/04/18/opinion/unsustainable/
  17. While this doesn't pertain to the Sioux name, I found this horrific example of the NC$$ persistent harassment of a coach to be mind boggling. TWENTY SIX YEARS and all he got was a measly $2.5mil.!!!!! From the NC$$'s own news releases. http://www.ncaa.org/releases/miscellaneous...998040201ms.htm Vindictive BA$T@RDS!!!
  18. I'm not a believer of teaching through fear. I believe that education is a better method of teaching someone to stay away from guns and snakes, etc. Making someone deathly afraid of something in order to keep them safe is, IMHO, not the best method. I don''t like snakes. I thought my son was afraid of snakes. When he was 11 years old, he brought a neighbor's boa constrictor into my house to show me the 'nice snake'. Your children may not be as deathly afraid of guns as you would like to think they are. I'm not trying to give you a bad time here, I would have agreed with you 100% not that long ago, on your opinion of guns. I'm not trying to change your mind on how you feel about guns. I just can't agree with your theory that 'being deathly afraid' of something will keep you safe. I'm concerned that you're setting your children up for injury if you really believe that's enough to keep them safe.
  19. Click off the parental control lock....
  20. Uhmm, I believe he's talking about getting a cheerleader Fed X'd for 60 bucks. The sandwich is extra. :silly:
  21. DaveK, my first thought when I read your statement was 'How long have you been a parent?' You can't make your children safe by making them 'deathly afraid of' anything. That's just plain sad. What kind of adult will they become?? Until recently, I never would considered having a gun in my home. I raised both my son's with my views on guns. They have their own now. My older son didn't have a toy gun for years. I saw him outside once with one of his dad's dress shoes. When I went into the yard where he was playing, I saw that he was pretending that his dad's shoe was a rifle.....
