Totally agree with you on this.

The water in our room was so hot, it was dangerous! We had to ask for clean towels but did get them. The vent in our room was black. The ceiling popcorn was sagging in two corners, there was no ice on any of the floors, the elevators were scarey but we were with great Sioux fans!!

Three plus million in the city, I would venture to say that attendance with any team would be as good as it would be in other venues.

I had to double check to make sure he was writing about the Wild. For a bit there, I thought it was a Goof writing about the Sioux.

That would be awesome. One of the Notre Dame fans who sat next to me said that hockey didn't have a big fan base yet. I bet this year's team changes that pretty quickly.

The Irish fans sitting next to me were amazed at the Fighting Sioux fan support. One guy just kept looking a me with with this look of incredulity on his face. I almost wish I had traded jerseys with him when he said we should.

I saw the title of this thread and thought, "Great!". Then I started reading it and thought, "Aw $hit!" Anyway, my favorite quote from a Sioux player, not after the Thursday game, just a moment in Fighting Sioux history. Last year during the Purple Cow massacre, Radke standing with his arms outstretched and a Purple Cow hanging onto him and punching him, "Can I go Coach, can I go?" Hak, "NO!" The Sioux bench, "YES!" God, how I love Fighting Sioux hockey!!!

I was sitting right next to the ND section and had two of their fans next to me. They couldn't believe the Sioux fans display of support for their team. One of the guys just kept looking at me with this look of disbelieving amazement on his face. He's never seen the 'like of this' in any college sport he's attended. He loves us!! He also told me we should trade jerseys. I had on one of my green (to show support for the Irish)Prp jerseys, he had on a replica Notre Dame jersey. I told him 'next time'. I'm proud of our fans. A large number showed up to the final game, wearing their colors proudly. No running home with our tails between our legs like some I won't mention. Onward to the next season, GO SIOUX!!!!!!

No. We're still here. Why would we come back early? Went to the sklills competiltion last night which was fun. Didn't go to the Hobey presentation, watched it on tv from Brooklyn's. Plan on going to the game tonight. We leave tomorrow morning.
