Kaip was challenging the Seawolves during the warmup with the parting words of "lets get it on". As I said in a pevious post, the Canadian players in AA's lineup knew better than to take on a former Saskatchewan junior.

It started during warmups. I guess Anderson's Canadian teammates didn't bother to tell him about the fighting skills of Saskatchewan boys.

The Officials should have let them go. It would have served one of them right if they had got smoked instead. What idiots.

Lee has got to be more aware than that before attempting cross ice passes.

Perhaps he has a little bit of watka in that glass.

I guess in addition to setting the table for Oshie he needs to take Lawson out too.

I can't recall any Sioux player ever being as snake-bitten as Oshie.

Thank goodness Bina was able to recover because he has been one of the bright spots this season. What a play.

webcast is up

I am watching the ECHL Game of the week between Trenton and Toledo while waiting for the webcast to come up. Troy Riddle slashed one of the Toledo D-man in front of his net and was he on the receiving end of a thumping. He might need some dental work for his trouble. It would be nice to see that kind of edge out of a Sioux D-man again.

The Central Scouting January result is available and Eidsness appears to be the top Sioux recruit at number 7 for North American goaltenders. Perhaps MSU had a hissy fit because they were expecting the even-up calls that are so typical of WCHA officiating.

I haven't been called son in awhile but if that is you in your avatar picture I guess you are one of the few on this forum who can call me that . Of course I know games and practices are different. If you reconnect this to the rest of my original post, which you have conveniently removed, I also alluded to the fact that certain players had exhibited a scoring touch in playing situations prior to their Sioux careers. Maybe at the end of the day the lineup does lack the quality to score as you suggest, but I still believe some of them could are capable of more and need to elevate their play.

Even the role players were recruited because they had an offensive edge to their games in Juniors. Walski said they are scoring in practice but are some of them putting in the required effort to score in games. Apparently not.

Great win and at least they did get the split. I watched them outplay CC for 120 minutes in their rink two years ago and leave with nothing.
