Teams like MTU and Mankato have given the Sioux tough games because the WCHA officials allow them to goon UND's skilled players. Davidson just might be Hak's solution when they play those teams.

Go back and do a review and you will find that you got the new one for saying that Frattin was making mistakes. As an aside, I find it interesting that Hak wouldn't reveal who he has playing with the number one line. Is he about to unleash the new beast (Davidson) on the WCHA? Plant him in front of the MTU net and watch the fireworks.

Northeastern was the perfect practice game heading to Mich Tech. Like NE there will be no quit in Tech's game and goals will be difficult to come by. If the Sioux are ready to play both nights I predict a sweep 3-1 Friday and 2-0 Saturday. Sadly, getting a certain referee would negate this prediction. Will Hak Platoon Marto and Lapoint again?

Agreed, it was my TV game with the Sioux on the internet and along with one of Lammy's saves it was the only memorable highlight of my hockey night.

It is a black eye for the NCAA once again. As I have stated many times the level of officiating and quality of facilities have failed to keep up with improvements to the quality of the players and games. The NCAA needs to stop wasting their time and money on frivolous issues and fix their product. I have tried turning some of my Canadian friends onto the DI games versus Junior hockey and having players like Toews was helping to catch their attention. I had advised them that they should watch the free webcast last night as it promised to be an early season clash of two titans with some top Pro Prospects. I can't wait to hear their comments about the quality of NCAA hockey come Monday morning. I am really glad that I didn't waste 12 hours of my life on a return trip drive to Boston and the cost of tickets and hotels to witness this fiasco. I feel bad for the Sioux fans who did and I would be embarassed to be a BC hockey fan or Hockey East executive today.

Lesson to WCHA teams never schedule an early season game at BC. Good Luck to them at getting any quality opponents in the future
