  1. He's the litte waif that trails the Don during the parade, the one carrying his hairspray, brushes and hairdryer. Recall from last season his brother is the Don's hairdresser which is why he gets all the inside info on the Goofs.
  2. Dagies, after all these years why are you expecting fair and clean play from the Gophers. They don't try that stuff as often against the Sioux because most of them know they will get thumped if they do. We will miss Prpich when we play them this season but I can't wait to see Hextall give them the appropriate attitude adjustments in the coming years.
  3. ZAJAC is the man.
  4. You may have Alzheimers but I have too much beer. I was beat
  5. I believe it was 5-2 with Jenson
  6. A cross checking minor
  7. We're rolling now. Quiet crowd
  8. There were plenty of misleading posts regarding a possible webcast. If anyone actually finds something that will work please let the rest of us know. Otherwise those watching TV please keep the details coming. Thanks
  9. A luxury the team hasn't enjoyed the last two years. A healthy competition for playing time will benefit the Sioux.
  10. Time to renegotiate, send in Hans Blix.
  11. Another Hextall. This guy will really get under the other teams skin ala Prpich and then burn them with his scoring touch. A good pick up because every Hextall plays their all for the win but will he come in next year or 08?
  12. Doh, I like the name for a different reason than Mafiaman. A former Hab, Toe Blake, was known as the Lamplighter in his playing days.
  13. The Lamplighters!
  14. Thanks PCM, It sounds like Bishop and Genoway are going to get plenty of playing time and the other freshmen will be rotated through based on their play.
  15. Better yet, to really get under the Gopher's skin name the line "The Crusaders". They have only one goal, hoisting college hockeys Holy Grail.
  16. David Hale is still having problems with blurry vision. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?fid=10460&hubname=
  17. We are used to trolls visiting this site and posting on a regular basis so the difference between silliness and provocation can at most times be rather nebulous. As for your new points, Patrick Roy doesn't own the MJ team in Bathurst and they have Malones rights. By choosing to go to school at Cushing Academy, Malone has already demonstrated that, with respect to his hockey career, it was in his best interest to escape New Brunswick and there is nothing about Bathurst that would lure him back. Turris on the other hand has a chance to play on the big local MJ stage, in Vancouver for the Memorial Cup.
  18. Are you as sure about Turris as you were about Malone. Vancouver Giants have his rights and will host the Memorial Cup 07 in the spring. They will continue to make lucrative offers all winter and not too many kids would pass up the chance to play for Cup.
  19. Quite simple actually, these polls exist so that schools outside of the WCHA don't develop an inferiority complex.
  20. Which is why the poll is meaningless. But if it agitates a few arrogant Goof fans then I am all for it.
  21. Is anyone bringing a "We got Malone" banner to fly during Bucky's banner raising ceremony.
  22. Another great effort by the coaches and recruiting staff.
  23. They are all heart and by far the youngest line to ever lead the Sioux. They also keep everyone on the edge of their seats, so if ever a Sioux line has deserved to be called "The Cardiac Kids" they are it.
  24. All the freshmen look decent, I just thought Zajac and Bishop looked more comfortable at this level.
  25. And based on what we have seen over the weekend of the freshmen so far it would appear that Zajac and Bishop should get the most playing time out of the forwards to start the WCHA season.
