  3. I've got 2 lower bowl tickets for sale to the Saturday, January 26th game against Alaska-Anchorage. Section 103, Row P, Seats 15 & 16 $25 apiece pm or email: jci@invisimax.com
  4. Nothing, but the capacity of it for football will be a problem very early on in the transition. If it can be expanded somehow even to just the ~15,000-ish range, I'm all for staying. But if a shade over 12,000 is really the max, that could be a problem down the road. Not a priority. It'll be a while before UND needs a facility of that size for basketball. And even when we do, we can always utilize this.
  5. If UND can start the short conference season off with 2 road wins against these teams, they will be in the driver's seat for another NCC crown.
  6. I'm a geek (according to my wife ) and a sports-nut. I love perusing and joining a number of forums to discuss sports. But I have no desire whatsoever to even consider just visiting a site that is operated by JBB and BisonBacker/DIinFargo.
  7. Looking for 4 lower bowl tix together to the Saturday night game against Alaska-Anchorage, Jan 26th. pm or email: jci@invisimax.com
  8. Oops, thanks.

  10. Just a reminder that the basketball show on WDAZ starts tonight at 10:30
  11. ATTENTION FOR THOSE WITH DIRECTV: FREE PREVIEW WEEKEND ON ESPN FULL COURT I was just about to call and order a one day pass for ESPN Full Court so I could watch tonights basketball game. I flipped to the channels and there was a game on! Apparently a weeklong free preview starts today. The UND game is on ch. 692.
  12. Geauxsioux already posted this link in the basketball forum, but I thought this little blurb from it should be here also:
  13. Sorry to keep following up my own posts. Mussman was asked during the press conference about other options that he had. He said he could have gone with Dale to SIU, and that he was pretty interested in the Minnesota St. job.
  14. Here' the official release.
  15. Congrats to Coach Mussman
  16. Would Greg Lotysz (sp?), have any interest in becoming more than a volunteer coach?
  17. vs. UND Game Notes Iowa St. Game Notes UND Audio & Video ISU Video UND is 10-3, and have won 10 consecutive games. ISU is 9-5, they currently have an RPI of 126. Fightingsioux.com will have the video webcast on their site, as well.
  18. I'm not really sure, especially considering NDSU's game last year from Iowa St. was televised on WDAY. Perhaps it has something to do with it being on ESPN Full Court?
  19. No local TV coverage for the basketball game against Iowa St. this weekend.
  20. Brian Jones was just on the Dan Hammer show. He mentioned that UND will be playing in a tournement at Drake next year. They usually host a tournament in early December that has often included several independents such as NDSU, Chicago St., and UTPA recently. He also mentioned he's been visiting with Ben Jacobsen at UNI about getting a home-and-home going. He was asked if Iowa St. would be making a return trip to GF in the future but said that McDermott hasn't been to keen on that. I had hoped that this weekend's game was maybe the first part of 2-for-1 contract.
  21. It looks like a few of the K-State faithful have somewhat mixed feelings on the job that Tim Tibesar is doing as DC down there.
  22. Thanks. It seems backwards to me that Idalski makes more than the basketball coaches, specifically Roebuck who's been here forever, produced championships and exposure, and generates revenue.
  23. Any idea what the salaries are for Gene Roebuck and Brian Jones? I thought I read somewhere when Brian Idalski was hired for women's hockey that his salary was going to be ~$85,000. Doesn't seem like the huge discrepency that one would think between the football coach and the women's hockey coach. I would certainly hope that the basketball coaches (Roebuck at the very least) would be compensated more than the women's hockey coach. If anyone should have a heavily incentive-laden contract, it should be Idalski.
  24. Good post, FargoBison.
