North Dakota lost by 39 to Gonzaga tonight...........which has been a very very good team over the past few years, but........ Since the move to DI I was wondering if it is worth pointing out that of the 18 sports that UND sponsors, it appears that only golf and women's basketball have yet to expand their recruiting base beyond the University's historic footprint in ND, MN, and WI. Is it possible that Roebuck may be towing the same line that Rich Glas and Amy Ruley did? By that, I mean that the general concensus about Glas and Ruley, is that they may have become somewhat lazy with their recruiting after spending ~20 years leading successful programs.

Yeah, entertaining game, looks like there is some talent there. I think with a healthy Bledsoe and Mitchell we win this game. This team is obviously especially young, but too many turnovers seem to always be an early season theme for North Dakota. Since Jones has been here, UND has finished each season on the wrong end of the Turnover Margin. I thought Goodman, Haugen, and Clausen all looked good. I also thought Mathison played well in the few minutes he was in. He looks to be in alot better shape, and moved around alot quicker.

North Dakota swept USD in the semi-finals of the GWC Tourney today. They will face either Utah Valley or Houston Baptist in the championship tomorrow. They swept Houston Baptist this season, and went 1-1 against UVU this season. Good luck ladies!

Denver to the Summit makes lots of sense. Easy travel, big market, no football, TV options. Isn't it odd that the Sun Belt's deadline coincides with the expiration of the NCAA moratorium? 5 sports to add is quite a financial burden.
