I'm gonna sell on the blocked kicks. North Dakota works hard on that, but Bellmore had half of them over his career and he graduated. Also, sell on top 10 defense........................I can see top 20 though..............

So, I printed off the schedules today (and thanks bojeta for posting them here, that was really helpful) and ran through every game that every team will play and made my picks for each game of every team for the entire season. With my vastly superior knowledge of the sport of football, here is what I came up with as to how the season will unfold. I cordially invite any and all fans of Big Sky Conference schools to rip apart this post, and fully expect numerous Bison fans to do the same..............because we all know that North Dakota is always on their mind. Also, as a perpetual homer, I picked the Big Sky team to win every non-conference FCS game on their schedule. Me too! We have had some receivers of decent size in recent years, but none with the athletic ability or "thickness" of Jackson...................

Agree with all you said. Just seems that North Dakota and Poly match-up so well with one another, and each game thus far has been very close. As long as both teams stay on their current course, I'll probably pick the home team each time they meet. I figure CP to finish as one of the top two teams in the conference this season.

End of independence purgatory dude.

I don't see North Dakota deviating too much from the style that they have played for the last 20 years. Our core recruiting grounds, although expanding, remains Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. Those areas it seems will always produce more bruising lineman and backs than they will uber-athletic QB's and flashy wide receivers. Surly we will get some gems from time to time, but I think it is the program's goal to have a balanced offensive attack that has the ability to take advantage of any opposing defense's liabilities. I also like watching power football and stingy defensive play.

By all accounts, Bresciani and Kelley work well together, and have alot of respect for each other and more importantly for the NDUS as a whole. Something neither of their predecessors were noted for....................

It is quite early to be talking about a new nickname, given the fact that we legally cannot have one for another 3 years, and also I'm confident that the likes of Reed Soderstrom, Sean Johnson (the bad one, not the good one), and Frank Burgraaf will likely throw a wrench into the process at some point. But looking to the future, here are my favorites in order amongst the many that have been put forward: Reapers Fighting Saints Cavalry Nokotas The biggest problem I have with Cavalry is that we certainly be known as "The Cavs".................. Nokotas is an intriguing and unique name, but I fear the logo would end up looking something like this, only with a green hue to it:
