South Dakota State has 8,400 seats still available. Their overall capacity is 19,340. That 8,400 doesn't include 1,200 club seats, in which un-purchased tix aren't available yet and 3,300 student tickets, which they will get nowhere near that number. I would say SDSU has sold 9,000 tickets, tops.

I can get tickets on the 30 yard line right now for EWU/UCA this weekend. James Madison has seats in their end zone and an entire side open still. At the Citadel I can get 50 yard line tickets. They have never won dick.

All I was saying is "if" there is only 8-9k people there, you should know why. I am as passionate about UND football as anyone. Just stating what I believe to be a legitimate reason why. Not proud of thinking that way or anything. I think there should 12K there.

These non-conference games drum up hype for the rest of the season and home games. Constantly losing them does nothing to promote the program and basically forces the MBB to start winning conference games to build hype. By that time it's February already.
