http://www.jamestownsun.com/news/local/3815992-updated-governors-reaction-chs-not-building-spiritwood Carl Casale, CHS president and CEO, announced today that CHS had decided against moving forward with its planned nitrogen fertilizer plant at Spriritwood. Pretty big blow to Jamestown. The plant was to have 2000 workers constructing it and 200 full time employees when up and running at an average salary of 80,000 a year. Lot of new apartments have been put up in town with more on the way but this may put those on the back burner for now.

Perspective on the situation: "Jon Heyman ✔@JonHeymanCBS a week ago, #twins held 2nd wild card spot. now they are 6th in WC standings 3:46 PM - 9 Aug 2015 · Manhattan, NY, United States" April 2 - under 500 May 13 - games over 500 June 6 - games under 500 July 1 - game under 500 August - 5 games under 500
-
Twins have the worst record in the AL since June 1 at 25-37. Lets face it they have had one good month where everything went there way. Other than the month of May they have been the same team as they have been the last 4 years. Terrible.
-
Soon to go under . 500 since the first of May. Getting smoked again today 8-0 and being no hit thru 7. This is not a playoff team in fact it looks like another 90 loss season could become a reality.

DJ with a 39 on the front and now is -4. The amateur Dunne is showing his nerves. Bogies first hole and sends his drive way right on the second. Spieth birdies first hole. This is going to be fun to watch unfold. -

That would be cool if he did but I'm still pulling for Spieth to get major number 3. If he did it would make the PGA a hell of a lot more interesting. Someone forgot to tell Dustin Johnson that it really was the third round today and not the fourth like it normally is on sunday. 3 over in those perfect conditions? Ouch. -

Spieth making a run at major number 3. Now at -5 after 12 and tied for the lead at -10. Unreal for a 21 year old. -

Going to be a Monday finish. Going to try and finish round 2 for those golfers still trying to finish today and play round 3 Sunday and round 4 Monday. The R & A muffed up today bad. Some golfers went out and played 2-3 holes while 10 golfers stood on hole 11 for 45 minutes and never hit a ball. Not fair to the ones who had to pay in those hurricane type winds. -

Arrieta pitches a complete game 2 hitter against the White Sox to go to 10-5 on the year. Lester gets to where he can be and that will be a damn good one two punch at the top of the rotation with Hammel being a quality 3 starter. Cubs go into the break at 47-40 and I think any Cub fan would of took that at the beginning of the season. -
And today was their 31st win at home. The last 4 years they averaged 32 wins at home per season.

Spieth with a -7 on Friday and a -10 yesterday after an even par on Thursday at the John Deere Classic. Looks like he is ready for the British Open. Kid has game. -
7-4 going to the top of the 6th. Is it the Tigers turn to return the favor? Lets hope not.

I'm not all that familiar with how arbitration and all that stuff works. Just assumed the Twins may have did themselves good by extending him without a huge pay raise if he continues smashing the ball. Just glad he is a Twin. Old school type player that just loves to play the game. Oh and have walk off homers. ?
-
The extension the Twins gave Dozier is looking better every day. He keeps up these numbers for a couple years and I can about imagine what he would be demanding.
