  1. 4 Below, Back in May '06 I contacted the Ralph for green and white bibs. The company (Game Bibs) did not carry those colors. But hey hey hey, look at this, looks like they started making Green and White. Contact the Ralph and see where they stand!
  2. Sorry for the confusion... I was trying to get everyone's thought on UND's goalie depth. Such as can Grieco carry the torch if Phil gets knocked out of a game. I'm thinking back in past, UND has had two goalies who were both above average or better. This is the first year in a while that the Sioux are jumping on one guy's back and trying to ride him the whole way. (Phil would have been just fine for last years team so please don't respond with "last year we only had Parise").
  3. If anything I would go with Frazee, he looked just fine on Sunday afternoon. Stayed focus while only getting 12 shots. Whoever wins the Thursday game will probably get around 20 shots on net. Is Grieco ready to go? Teams have been trying to run Phil through the endboards as of late. Could he be ready to lead ala Andy K.?
  4. Are those stats from the whole season or just the last 20 games. That's what I'm interested in seeing... May as well combine Briggs and Frazee
  5. They just said that Phil and Briggs are "6 of one, half dozen..." I have to disagree with this, their total year numbers may be comparable, but Jean-Phillipe makes me feel a little more comfortable with him between the pipes than either one of the Gopher 'tenders.
  6. It's ugly, it's gross, it's been done by a local high school. Let's get over this hair styling post and back to the more important matters at hand: 1. East Coast Bias 2. Minnesota Bias 3. NCAA Bias (mind control of the referees forcing bad calls against UND, thus hopefully hindering the chances that the Fighting Sioux name scandal would be brought to the forefront of the (hockey) nation's attention. Or something like that.
  7. Couple quick questions 1. Did he have surgery last season? 2. Does he need any surgery now? I'm still excited to see him play. UND is going to need some people to step up with scoring next year. Let's finish off this year on a positive note and then the men and women of the ebays can begin speculating on players who will be moving into larger estates.
  8. Below came from the ESPN SportsNation Chat, it's nice that they answered that question. More positive press can't be bad. (I realize that INCH does the chats) Mark (Fargo, ND): With all of the talk most of the year about Brown from Notre Dame and TJ Hensick from Michigan, what chance does Ryan Duncan from North Dakota have to win the Hobey Baker? SportsNation Joe Gladziszewski: In this week's Hobey Tracker at INCH, we're touting Duncan as the top Hobey candidate right now. He's been absolutely amazing in the last two months, and North Dakota has an 8-1-3 record in those games. It all adds up to him being a Hobey front-runner.
  9. I hope that's just a rumor, I had just commented to my family, that if we didn't win, at least a huge Sioux fan should. Go ahead and put it up for auction, but donate the proceeds to a good cause.
  10. I know you should look at the whole body of work, but what are Phil's numbers looking like over the last 11 games? Are they comparable to those of Mannino? Or is it the fact that the team has been scoring more that is increasing his win total, while he has played roughly the same throughout the year. Can someone run the numbers?
  11. You are too quick PCM, too quick, fastest typing this side of the Mighty Mississippi

  13. How in Grand Forks/ Fargo are there no "good" radio stations that broadcast over the ebays? If I missed some please send me the link.
  14. http://fantasysports.yahoo.com/analysis/ne...gue=fantasy/nhl Saw this on Yahoo Sports Brandon Bochenski has some impressive goal-scoring totals on his resume: 34 in 75 games as Jason Spezza's winger in Binghamton of the AHL during the lockout, 22 in 33 games the following season and 33 in 35 games with Chicago's top developmental affiliate this season. His new employers, the Boston Bruins, referred to him as "a shooter" after bringing him aboard Feb 3. Bochenski himself says that what he does is "score goals." Interesting, then, that the 24-year-old winger is with his third team in two years and couldn't cut it with Chicago, a team languishing in the bottom five in the league in scoring. Never mind that for now. Boston acknowledges that Bochenski was acquired to help kick-start its offense and general manager Peter Chiarelli realizes that the kid is best paired with a top playmaker. Translation: They didn't acquire him to toil on the third or fourth line. Fast forward to Sunday and Bochenski has three goals in his first three games as a Bruin. Injuries have forced coach Dave Lewis to tweak his lines a bit, but Bochenski has been playing in the 15-17 minute range and has logged minutes on the No. 2 power-play unit. Where things go from here will be interesting to watch. At the very least he's a solid short-term add while the new-address adrenaline is still flowing.
  15. Yeah stop thinking about THIS year's title game. Start looking out in the future. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frozen_Four Lock 'em down now just in case I'm securing my Denver 2008 room right now, just so I'll stay a step in front of the rabid Sioux fans on this board.
  16. http://www.withleather.com/post.phtml?pk=2017 Made Withleather.com a day or two and it'll be on Deadspin
  17. Well I'm not living in ND anymore, I have a question about the pt system in High School hockey. Anyone heard anything about giving a team +2 for a win, but subtracting a point if they got too many penalites, or even 1 coach getting booted? Something to this effect, I heard it @ the bar so I took it with a grain of salt. The person said they are doing this in Peewees and looking to move to the older leagues with it. Is there any truth to such a silly rule? T them up, suspend kids for poor sportsmanship. But if one team scores more than the other team, there is no reason that the losing team should get to possibly come away with more pts.
  18. Well good thing I have the text updates no video tonight, time to go booze. GO SIOUX!
  19. Did anyone here anything more about this?
  20. I haven't been following the Sioux nearly as much this year as years past. Real jobs do that. But, overall do they call every little thing that happens. I am refering to penalites being called. Both ways seems like the whistles are a little quick.
  21. That's what I forgot.... (going to the kitchen making a Rum&Cola ) Okay now Let's Go Sioux!
  22. Thank you Robbie for SHOOTING! Nice tip by Duncan. Wisconsin bringing pressure.
  23. So who is going to throw fists tonight? Or are they going to wait until tomorrow night?
