Most posters weren't upset with the actual choice of hakstol. Most posters were upset about the process and the fact that the job wasn't opened up to other people before a decision was made.

Right, the only times the refs called penalties for hitting was when the sioux players got their sticks or elbows up at the head. There is no excuse for this. The penalties suck right now, but it will pay off in the long run. We have to be steadfast and resolute. We can not waiver.

You heard wrong, sioux lost 8-0 agains the MIGHTY gophers.

This was a pretty sloppy game on both ends. UND needs to cut down on the penalties if they want to succeed.

Im more upset about the QB situation. If Belmore could have completed at least some nice passes down the stretch there could have been a diff result.

SiouxTupa: After I read your first post I was shocked that you predicted Maine would be able to score six goals. Did you see the NCAA championship game last year??? I see you made a wise correction in your second post. My question is, who did they lose from last year besides their senior goalie?? (can't remember his name). Their defense will be tough, hopefully we can get to howard right away on friday and keep it up all the way through Saturday It will also be a nice road test right away in very hostile territory.

That's an understatement.. I know we are thin on QB, but there has to at least be a QB on the team that can throw a football TO a receiver.
