There is absolutely no reason they can't sell season tickets in the upper bowl. They say there is no demand, but that is an outright lie.

There is absolutely no unselfish reason that students who had season tickets last year couldn't have just renewed. After that, there should be a weighted lottery based on credit hours. Thank you , goodbye.

The history of UND's program was very mediocre before Blais came to UND.

The only people who didnt like the renewal idea were probably the ones who didnt have season tickets last year.

Also, why can't they sell a certain amount of upper bowl season tickets? THis way, the people who intend on attending every game do not have to wait in line every monday mornign.

Why did the student gvt. insist on having the lottery right away the next morning? Wouldn't it have been prudent to hold it off for another week, to gain some student input. It sounds like the lottery idea was first shot down by the student gvt. in favor of a very flawed system. WHY???

Have a lottery , but give previous season ticket holders priority. It isn't that difficult. Now a lot of die hard fans who have been there 5 hours before every single home game during their student career are screwed.

The best thing would have been to allow students who had tickets the previous year to renew their tickets for this year. The rest of the tickets would then be given out by a lottery.

The lottery process itself is not unfair, but the fact that they changed the rules in the middle of the game (what is this , florida in the 2000 election?) is what gets to me. If in fact friends of student gvt had 20-30 tickets in their hand, that is also unfair.

Give me a break. For years, it has been first come first serve at UND. Usually this brought the most die hard fans to the front. If they would have been upfront about this right away, and not had students wait in line for hours before breaking the bad news, then I wouldn't be quite as upset about the whole thing (and im not even a student).

One good thing that came out of this letter, is that they are you lowering the temperature in the REA to improve ice quality.
