This data is amazing and just what I felt was the case. This is what happens when you have a lazy, incompetent AD.

I said that in jest, however based on the ROI on both BB programs it's a better deal as is going over to Valley Middle school on Thursday nites and watching the YMCA league.

Here's an idea. Drop both MBB and WBB since they both are dead anyway and restart women's hockey with Brad Frost as coach. We're a hockey school and the women's program was on the rise when it was cut. Am I crazy or what??

Building facilities, etc. is a whole different scenario from evaluating and finding talented coaches or employees. As someone with an engineering project management career over 40 years and hiring and managing many people I'll tell you the skillsets are different. I've been waiting for 20 years for UND to perform across the board as well as it did in D2 old 4 Dakota schools era when it was a leader not a follower.

GF is not Mecca, but have you been to Vermillion or Brookings? Cedar Falls, Laramie, Greeley, etc. It's the coaching/recruiting and the AD hasn't put any serious effort into BB and only recently into FB and hockey. Gotta be the cushiest AD job in the midwest.

UND does have an AD problem. We've settled for mediocrity with no vision for many years. The last 20 years we've become the bottom of the Dakota 4 whereas previously we were often at the top.

Brookings also has a Fortune 500 3M plant.

Ifs and buts..... but, but UND is "more talented"?? Ask Canada about 3x3?

I think it's realistic to be in contention for a natty every year. I don't think giving up 3+ goals in 11 of the last 14 games is realistic for a team that has 3 coaches with defensive credentials. It's also not an anomaly that the team has lost 5 NCHC semifinals in recent years. I know Sandy may not grab as much overall talent, but UMD took 3 of 5 this year and he seems to have a magic ability to peak during tournament time. UND needs to figure it out. I am assuming this talented coaching staff can do that.

Did the team get flu shots? If they have symptoms do they wear a mask when near roomates etc.? Do the team doctors advise them on protocols? There are ways to stay well if you follow them.

With 4 RBs (2 sophs, 2 RS frosh) on the spring roster and one? incoming '06 recruit it looks like some talent, but not real deep. Any chance of Javon or someone else moving to the RB list? Transfer in one or two more this Spring? Comments??
