Confident that Chyzyk has Plan A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, & J in place based on various end of season outcomes, players signing pro/coming back, portal losses, current committed recruits needing another year of junior or ready to come in a year early, and targeted recruits showing more or less interest in North Dakota than previously believed. Excited for it all. With CHLers NCAA eligible now, the player pool is so large that Chyzyk/Jackson should be able to land the players they want & feel best fit the program every year.

Not a screamer, but there are points after a goal where he's just too excited and gets a bit annoying. I like Weekes from a macro standpoint and he does his research when given new assignments (usually in the NHL world where he does 95% of his work), but I don't expect him to be great knowing some of the key details of the NCAA world & its players like the diehards around here would know. TL;DR: You might get a bit annoyed with him for certain reasons, but he's generally fine.

Would love the Ruck Twins. Clearing future roster spots means that Chyzyk/Jackson have to know that they're getting a couple high enders like the Ruck Twins, Carels, DuPont, Rudolph, Lin, etc. A productive offseason would be securing a minimum of 2 of them.

Off topic & not directly NCAA Hockey related, but still so devastated about the loss of Jessi Pierce & her 3 children this past weekend. An absolute legend of the Minnesota Hockey community and media sphere, heartwarming to see those across the hockey world pay tribute to her. 💔💔❤️

Average age HS senior in Canada. The school year grouping is the birthyear (Jan 1-Dec 31), thus all 2008s graduate HS in 2026, all 2009s graduate in 2027. Verhoeff is in the middle

Some bad omissions from the Hobey Baker top 10 IMHO

The most intriguing thing here to me is how many projected returners (ex: Ziemer, Mooney, Clark) enter the portal or sign pro and how many incoming recruits (ex: Grimes, Harper, Jarvis, Humphreys, Katz, W. Cullen) decommit and go elsewhere. Gophers are only losing Lamb & L. Mittelstadt in terms of their bigger producers & have some very solid guys coming in. Will be paying attention to how it plays out.
