I found this paragraph in the article interesting... I am sure that I am reading more into this than I should be, but this implies that he has talked to friends at multiple schools and that these multiple schools are in both North and South Dakota. It could be that the writer just worded it poorly and that NMU's president was simply trying to get information out of people he knows at UND. Hmmmm.

I know that comprehension isn't a strong point for NDSUA&AS graduates, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out what the topic of this thread is. If you want to compare peer to peer, since UND plays football at the FCS level wouldn't it make sense to compare our athletic department to those of other FCS schools? You might want to go re-read the first post in this thread. It explains it rather clearly.

Not all Sioux fans, even on this board, supported the nickname legislation before all of this with the Big Sky came up. I emailed my legislators and asked them to vote against it. And that is why I am so mad about what is going on now. I know that it would draw a firestorm, but I almost wish the UND administration and the delegation from GF that spoke out against this legislation and said that it would impact out transition would come out and say "told ya so." 5+ decades of this circus has been long enough. It is time to move on and focus on the true mission of the University of North Dakota.

Sioux prep for four-game series with NJIT Hopefully the weather holds out for them and they are able to get all of the games in. It would be nice to see some decent sized crowds at these games.
