If you look at their 4-2 Sunday game loss against Minnesota and then their 3-2 overtime loss to UMD in the tourney, it shows that they have some great potential. Especially if you consider they are only loosing 2 seniors. This next year should be a GREAT ONE!!!!! I look forward to them competing for the top half of the conference this next season.

I beleive it is $6.00 for students throuth the NCC tournament. I wish it was free cause more students would show up but I am going to try and get as may guys from my fraternity to come with me to the game. I am going to explain to them that if we win in the conference tourney, we will be hosting the regional going to the nationals. I am going to bring as MANY of the guys from my house. I just hope that everyone else will bring as many people with them as possible. I want to see a completely full student section.

I know USD hasn't been competative in the last decades! I also know that UND charged extra for the Duluth game but unless I am mistaken that was HOMECOMING. I was asking, didn't UND/USD used to be a big rivalry DECADES ago and used to play for the Sitting Bull Trophy unless I am mistaken. I know UND and USD hasn't been extremely competative. I was just asking. Was this not a RIVALRY YEARS and YEARA ago?

If tonight's game is any indication of things to come in the next year or two I am very excited!!! The Sioux women just took UM-D, rank #2 in the nation, into overtime. Unfortunately the ladies ended up loosing 3-2.

It is kind of hard to think of anyone in the NCC as real rivals. I am kind of suprised that UND and USD haven't tried to get something going similar to what NDSU and SDSU did this year. Although the 'SUs needed something to try create some buzz these next few years, UND and USD don't really need that. Didn't UND and USD used to be a pretty big rivalry and they used to play for the Sitting Bull trophy or something like that?

I was down in St. Cloud this fall for the football playoff game. I went down with the marching band. All five of the white middle class protesters there were even making comments to the band members as we were walking into the stadium. After a few people made some smart comments back to them they didn't even know what to do. Those jokes at PCSU can't even be taken serious.

The WCHA had a nice article on their website that claims that UND and UW split the weekend series. WCHA got it wrong

If you want to call me a fair weather fan because I wasn't at yesterday's game go ahead. The simple fact is that it was a sunday afternoon with !@#!$ weather. I had to get out of town as early as possible. The simple fact is that even die hard fans do have lives that they still need to live.

The ladies got a very nice 5-1 win today! Tomorrow is the last home game, hope everyone is going.

So is everyone going to the games this weekend? This is their last home series for the season. They are playing against St. Cloud, who's season is going about as well as ours. Should be one of the more competative series of the season.

I have a tape of the 2001 FB championship game. And every time I watch it I get pissed off at the announcers, they were total idiots. During the game they were joking about the logo on our helmets and how they had seen them somewhere before but just weren't quite sure where, maybe the University of Northern Deleware used something similar. IDIOTS. But they also thought UND was in Fargo so what do you expect? My vote is for the flame logo!!!

So instead lets use a logo that when everyone sees it they instantly think of a different university?!?!?!? The interlocking ND logo is the one that is generic. At least the flame logo would be original to UND.

How can uniforms be complete rip-offs and be the best ever? You have to question a university that doesn't even have the vision of coming up with its own logos and uniforms.

I completely agree that UND should not use the interlocking ND logo as much. I am not a fan of it. I understand that UND has been using this logo for a very long time. I was at Tower Cafe the other day and they have a picture from 1903 of a sports team and their jerseys had the interlocking ND on them. My biggest complaint is about the football team using it so much, especially now that Notre Dame has unofficially started using green as a school color! UND needs to get some new football uniforms. Ours definately do look too much like a rip off of Notre Dame. Even if we know they aren't a rip off, others may think of them that way. Lots of people make fun of St. CLoud and their logo being a rip off of the Canadians. I would definately like to start seeing UND use the UND flame logo (my avatar) more on uniforms. It would be original to UND and help create a recognition between it and the University.
