Every time I have flipped over to the game, the Homer announcers always seem to be talking about Kessel. I hate those announcers!

Obviously NoDak isn't a very populous state. Only the largest schools in the state (which wouldn't even be considered that large in most states) sponsor hockey. There are 18 men's hockey teams and only 11 women's hockey teams. For example, in Grand Forks there is Grand Forks Red River and Grand Forks Central that both have men's hockey but the two schools combine for women's hockey. Minnesota is up 2-1 over UAF. Second intermission. Also Bemidji is ahead of Minnesota State, didn't hear score or time.

Good first period. The offense looks to be skating very well. They look alot quicker than NU. It is hard to tell what the defense looks like, they haven't been challenged too much yet. I hope it stays that way all night.

Getting close to game time!!!! In other WCHA action, Minnesota is already behind 1-0 to UAF. Only 3 minutes into the game.

And we all know that the NC$$ could provide a higher quality Native American program than UND ever could. Why didn't UND ever think of trying to provide education to NAs to "improve the actual lives of Native Americans." What bugs me most about this debate is what little research people do before having an opinion on the issue and the naive things people say about UND and it's treatment towards Native Americans.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I am going to be very pi$$ed if they receive an exemption in a week.

I am no computer whiz so it doesn't look the greatest but I have always wanted to see an alternate jersey like this: I am one fan who would like to see the UND flame logo incorporated more into the sports programs. I am not a huge fan of the "Notre Dame'ish" ND on jerseys.

My roommates and I are considering going to Vermillion for the UND/USD game. We were just wondering if anyone else is making plans to go. If so, where are you planning on staying, what day are you planning on leaving and coming back, etc.? We can't really afford to get a hotel for too many nights so we are thinking about leaving early saturday morning, getting there with just enough time to tailgate some and then stay saturday night. Is anyone else making plans ? ? ? ? ?

Maybe this is a really cheesy topic but I was just curious what everyone is planning on dressing as for Halloween. What are your plans for the evening?

I like it. It appears that OLN will mostly have games only on Mondays and Tuesday. But at least on Mondays and Tuesdays I know that there will be a game on and don't have to worry about weather ESPN will be playing hockey or a rerun of the 1987 World Poker Championships. Outdoor Life Network
