I don't have CSTV or know anyone that does. I would assume that there will be plenty of bars in the area that should be carrying the game. Just wondering if anyone knows what bars have CSTV and will be showing the game. Also, who all plans on going?

BREAKING NEWS!!!!! The University has just announced the changing of the school's name to "The University of Southern Canada." President Kupchella and the Board of Higher Education made this decision for two reasons. 1) In an attempt to please the NCAA, the university will be changing the athletic nickname and logos. Due to the fact that the word Dakota is Native American, the school felt that it would be "hostile and abusive" to continue to use it. 2) Also, they believe that having the word Southern will confuse people into thinking that it never gets below 80 degrees here and are expecting a record number of applications to the school. "Ladies and Gentlemen. Please welcome your University of Southern Canada Fighting Peacemakers!!"

I am getting excited for this trip. Should be a fun weekend. It is good to hear that there will be a good number of UND students and fans there to enjoy it with. I was surprised to see that there isn't much seating on the west side. I was also surprised that the visitors section isn't on that side. Also, does anybody know if the band will be making the trip? They usually make it to 1 away game a year. Last year it was to UNO and then to SCSU for the playoff game. I haven't heard if they have made any trips this year or have plans to.

Moving the students to the corner would open up sections 108 & 109. I don't think most people would consider being moved to center ice as punishment. And for those who still want to sit in the corner, there are still three other corners.

I really don't understand why the students are not in sections 105, 106, 306, and 306A. It would solve the issue of standing and blocking other sections. You could stick the band in the top of either section 105 or 106. They are right in the same corner as the student entrance. The students would be directly behind the opposing teams goalie twice for convenient taunting!!! I also don't think that student's should have assigned seating. Let the die hard fans who want to show up and stand in line for 5 hours have the best seats. It would help with the atmosphere during games.

With Illinois not having a "namesake" tribe to get approval or disapproval from, I see the NCAA giving them an exemption. Or if nothing else give them an exemption under a set of circumstances such as the chief retires, etc. However, I don't see the NCAA giving out too many exemptions after Illinois. All of the big DI schools will be taken care of and Looking at the DII and DIII schools on the list most are either Indians or Warriors. Unless these schools can get a tribe to grant them permission I doubt that too many of them will win an appeal. Punish the small guys I guess
