For sure. He needs space. Today's basketball is all about spacing. Good thing we currently have a 4 man that can shoot playing as our 5 man! Easy fix over the offseason.

Yes, Treysen has developed nicely in his ability to drive and create for himself and others off the dribble as the season went on. Glad to see that and will only get better over the years to come! I like Omot playing the majority of his minutes at the 3. He can play some 4 when subs come in, but the majority of his minutes should be at the 3. Having Treysen at 6'7" and Omot at 6'8" as your two wing players is a huge luxury that not many teams in the Summit have. Especially with both of them being highly skilled and athletic. We need to use that to our advantage.

First priority is keeping them. Next priority to getting them playing in the right positions. Omot is not a 4 man. He needs to be playing the 3. Treysen is not a point guard. He needs to be playing the 2. Get them playing the right positions and they will be even more successful.

I don't think he will get a ton of major program looks. He is in that unfortunate position where he isn't big enough to be a center at a major program but he also isn't quick enough or have wing skills enough to play as a power forward at a major program. Not sure many top 25 teams in the nation will be offering him scholarships. I think as of now NDSU is probably the best fit and in the front running to land him after the season. He would fit into the same role Grant Nelson has for them seamlessly.

He will be leaving to play someplace else after this season with 1 more year of eligibility. Mason is a bigger, stronger, more physical TT. At 6'9" he may be "undersized" at the D1 level but he plays a lot stronger and is physical enough to make up for the height. He isn't a 4 man as he can't really play out on the wing, but he can catch and shoot it from 3 on pick and pop situations. He is a more physical and better overall skilled TT. I think he would do very well at UND.

I think that is a pretty good list. You are right that no true PG and lack of spacing would be the downfall of that squad! The floor would be congested on offense! A lot of length and solid defenders on defense though! On a side note: Sather needs to get Mason Walters in a UND jersey for next year. It will be tough as I'm sure he is leaning towards NDSU to fill in the spot of Grant Nelson and to play with his old teammate Boden one more year but I would really like to see him in a UND jersey!

Agree! Just the lack of energy and competitiveness was on full display today. A player scores 46 on you last time you played them and was on Sportscenter for it. You would think as a coaching staff, a team, and as individual players guarding him that you would take that personally and try shut him down.... nope we let him do whatever he wants and score 34.

Absolutely! We can play a lot better than we did first half! Turn up the energy a bit and up the tempo. The tempo favors WIU right now. We win this game!

Icing/downing screens preferably. Whatever terminology you want to use. Force them to the sideline if screen on the wing/slot. Can switch guard to guard screens. Or play drop coverage and chase over screen. Don’t like that though because TT is not a shot blocker. Anything but hedging really.

Hedging ball screens needs to go. Puts everybody out of position too easy and allows post catches too deep where TT is screwed. Please for next year get rid of hedging!

Will be at the game today! Hoping there is a decent crowd to create a good atmosphere! I think UND does a much better job guarding Massner this time around as well! They only lost by 8 on the road last time, even with a guy scoring 46. UND is the better team, especially as of late. UND gets the win today!

Absolutely! I would think with this late season success and momentum they would want to stay and have an even better season next year. But in today’s college basketball scene you just never know!
