For Brooks and Norman, yes. But Omot and Eaglestaff, no. If we had Eaglestaff at the 2 and Omot at the 3 that is great size and length at the 2 and 3. Not many teams have 6'6" and 6'8" wings. The issue is we have one being the backup point when he isn't a PG and the other is playing the 4 when he isn't a 4. Put them in the right positions and they will excel in this league.
-
This team definitely has talent though is the only issue. With a different coach and a different system we are a middle of the pack Summit team. Sather absolutely needs to go, but they need to try keep Omot, Eaglestaff, Brooks, and Norman for sure.
-
We seem to play significantly better at home so the final home games are all legit shots to win. I would say DU and Omaha are the best two chances to get another win.
-
Fell down to 321 in KenPom after last night's game. We are 335 in the nation in defensive efficiency. Tough to win ball games with that.

Yeah I was able to watch it. It was hard to watch! Didn't look like a team at all. Both offensively and defensively. Pretty much every man for themselves is what it looked like. 0 effort. Seemed like all the guys were checked out already. -

Very tough to win conference games on the road. Zeke Mayo was sick/injured when they played in Grand Forks. UND has a shot to keep this close and come out with a win, but I think Zeke may be too much for UND to handle tonight playing on the road. -
Agree, the Betty capacity isn't an issue. Practice facility should be #1 priority for basketball. If you don't have a practice facility as a D1 program you are already significantly behind when it comes to recruiting good talent.
-
Holy cow, I can't with all these excuses! Creighton joined the Big East in 2013...... and to say they aren't even close to a P5 team just tells me that you have no clue about basketball. I really hope you have a great rest of the week!
-
Which is good! Now the next step is to get players like those on campus and in a UND jersey!
-
It has been done before by the prior head coach... Marlon Stewart. I think some would say that he made a huge difference at UND.... this was also done before the new transfer rules. Marlon came here and had to even sit out a year. Would be even easier to get a guy from a P5 school now that they don't have to sit out.
-
Very aware of how it works, thank you very much. I'm just not one to make excuses. Excuses get you nowhere. Have a great rest of your day!!
-
Then there will always be an excuse. UND will never get to the Top of the Summit or even close to that because we are in Grand Forks. That mentality will get UND nowhere.
-
I never said it is easy. Recruiting is a very challenging aspect of college basketball! However, it is one thing that UND is severely lacking behind on. ORU has 4 Power 5 drop down players and Max Abmas who could easily be at a Power 5 school. If UND ever wants to be near the top of the Summit that is something they need to catch up to.
-
It's an offer.... there is no saying that he will 100% end up coming here. It is good to see them finally going after D1 level Juco players though. Finding a drop down player from a Power 5 school is what we need. ORU has multiple of them and are dominating the summit.
-
The three Juco's in 3 years is very interesting! Would be interesting to see why that is. But he is most definitely a D1 player both physically and athletically. I like the offer!
-
29% win rate lol it just keeps getting worse!
-
One can dream! No chance he’s going to give up that $180k next year knowing that he most likely won’t get an extension after it.

Why Levias didn’t play more tonight is beyond me?! He had 10 points in his first 5 minutes on the floor and then it seemed like he barely played the rest of the game -

The only thing that matters is that the players had fun tonight! That’s all we can ask for! -

He averages around 16 point PER GAME. We gave up 24 in the first half….. hell of a defensive game plan!! -
